He started singing when he was in 6th grade.
Then in college, he got accepted in an organization with talent in singing and dancing. In 2003, Joey was disappointed that he was not able to try to audition for reality singing contest because he was already residing in the United States. Joey loves music. Whatever he do and wherever he is, he sings.
His influences are Brian Mcknight, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Regine Velasquez.
