Let tomorrow be a day of joy and ease.

Let this new chapter of my life and career bring stability to my family and I.

Let it be a stepping stone to the deepest desires of my soul, and the widest goals of my heart.

Please lend me your patience, your focus, and your grace.

Let me embody The 7 Pillars in all that I do and all that I am.

And let Xenia guide my heart and actions, always.

We stand, kneel and lie for you, immortal ones, kind ones.

We ask not for much, merely for your guidance, your gentle hearts and your watchful eyes.

Protect us from harm, ease our illnesses and let the happy moments last. Cast away dark thoughts and painful tears.

To the Deathless Gods

I give my thanks

For the ever welcoming ocean

For sand between my toes

For the hermit crabs, hiding in their perfect shells

And for the company of humanity

In a time of such fear I chose to look upon my fellow humans with kindness and appreciation

Despite what they may wish on me

For here at this liminal place we are all equal

We are all small beside the horizon

All cooled by the water we wade through

All kissed by the sun’s rays of light

And so I thank the Gods for the gift of this beach, this ocean shore

I cannot imagine who I would be without the sea

Standing at the crossroad. The raven stabs with his eyes through skin and bores into muscle. Sun sets and pulls darkness over herself.

Standing at the crossroad. The nightingale hums a requiem and screams into the void without a sound ever emerging.

Standing at the crossroad. Unknowing where to go, unknowing where the paths will end, unknowing if fate will mend the wounds.

Standing at the crossroad. Raven and nightingale speak no word when the Veiled Lady appears. A torch to dissipate the dark. A hand taking mine. No longer alone. Her face gleams in the firelight. Her eyes speak of comfort.

Walking on. Passing the crossroad. With her guidance, moving forward is possible.

Thank you, Lady of thresholds, boundaries and crossroads.

Khaire Aphrodite Areia- she who is warlike. Khaire Aphrodite Apostrophia- she who rejects sinful lust. Fair Lady, burn through me as a gripping angry flame. Protect all from sinful eyes. To you I pray, for the souls harmed and lost in meaningless spite and lust of hateful eyes. Scorn all who deserve not your ouranic grace but your honed blade. Sweet lady, to you I pray for the ones we have lost in protests of our identity. To you I pray for the souls burdened with hollow norms. To you I pray for all of us; hold us in your loving embrace, gentle My Lady.

Golden Elpis, companion of Pandora, gentlest goddess who guides humanity throughout even the darkest of nights,

To you I give thanks, for your gentle nature and for the hope you give us, for the strength you give us in times of strife,

And I praise you for your mighty wisdom, your great power and your graceful stature, for your beauty and your everlasting perseverance,

Golden Elpis, for millennia you have consoled humanity and directed humanity towards bravery, and for millennia shall you continue to do so.

Dearest Hera, shining bright, warming light of my world,

As I come to you with pain and aches,

I ask you to be gentle. Blow on my scrapes and caress my head and tell me that it's over now.

I ask you to be my refuge, as you are the light guiding me through the night.

I have little to offer you but my endless love and devotion. I have a voice to sing of your kindness and hands to show it. I have no golden cup but I will always tend to the fire of your compassion.

In all of life and eternity, I am grateful to you. I thank you.

I need people to know that a prayer doesn't mean lighting five different candles, four incenses of endangered plants, food you could hardly pay for ending uneaten in the compost or statues overfilling your limited space.

I need you to know that a prayer needs only to be one thing: spoken from the heart.
