Duolingo is done for.

This is probably very late but either way, it's true.

It used to be at the very top of language learning apps, and now it's fallen down.

They've added ads. More and more things are now behind a giant, multi layered paywall.

The new (ish) energy update doesn't want you to learn for as long as possible.

You get a limited amount of energy, then you have to spend gems to get more.

Legendary is paid now, either with super Duolingo or with 100 gems.

I used to be a big fan of Duolingo and now... idk anymore
