Hemlock {Aemilia} @hemlockslace
She followed behind the Cetra, blending in the crowd as seamlessly as possible, finger tapping the small earpiece, murmuring. “I see the target in sight. Engage?” Aemilia questioned, waiting as she tailed Eden, following her down an alley, getting the go-ahead. She smiled as she slipped closer to the other woman, hand reaching out to grasp her shoulder. “Darling, I need you to come with me.” (hemlockslace)

Someone was behind her. Who they were and what they wanted, she didn’t know, but the voices pressed against her brain. “Run.” “Someone’s behind you.” “Danger.” “Danger.”
The flurry of ghosts made her all the more paranoid, she could hardly think straight. Her thoughts began to run along those that were not her own. She weaved between people, hoping to lose whoever tailed her in the confusing bustle of people. A dodge here, a slide beneath another’s raised arm there.
She ignored the surprised cry in protest towards invaded space, all she can think of is the person behind. Against her better judgment, Eden glanced back to try and catch the face of the new threat. It was for only a heartbeat of a second before she felt herself pull into the comforting shadow of the alleyway. Her pulse throbbed wildly, making the already migraine-inducing dissonance become all the more overbearing. Who was it? Where were they?
The Cetra would have made a mad dash over the neglected, chain-link fence, until a light grip fell on her shoulder. Blood ran cold, pupils shrank within widened amber pools. Basic flight-or-fight took over in a snap. Eden didn’t answer her, instead she whipped around with a fist clenched. She aimed a hard hook towards her, hoping to strike against her jaw.
