Sooooo…after only three days of working in Newington Library I had been invited to a hen-do (Junggesellinnenabschied) at Sygn Bar in Edinburgh. My first one ever actually! We had lots of fun bauntering the soon-to-be-bride, chitchatting and playing goofus games - I excelled at sticking the di- AHEM *coughing* male parts in the right place on the poster (!) with a blind on. Obviously, this skill needs to be mentioned at some point within my next resumé. I even won some Lindt chocolates for that. Anyway, I enjoyed myself that evening ;)
So I've been thinking about marriage and stuff like that A LOT
A couple of my friends are getting married (on the same day too!) And I went to my friend, Gina's surprise hen-do tonight.
And there's just been lots of talk about it, also on Tumblr too. It's kinda doing my head in. I need to stop thinking about this stuff and just focus on God, and everything will come after (=
No doubt, I will be haunted by weird marriage dreams ... and I will wake up and realise it's all fake! T_____T
Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it.

Pretty Vintage Hire
(Photo copywrite Pretty Vintage Hire)
Our wedding isn't going to be a "vintage" wedding with all the lovely chintzy tea cups and saucers and bunting (but I can picture that version of the wedding soooo easily!) but I'm thinking I might do a vintage tea party for my hen-do.
Pretty Vintage Hire seems to be the best place in Norfolk to hire all the gorgeous vintage crockery, glassware and linens to make a perfect retro tea party of deliciousness.
Currently I'm getting in the mood by helping lovely Tanya to plan a vintage tea party for this May Bank Holiday so I'll keep you posted on how that goes with pictures etc.
