Imma post the b&w now as it is, and if I finish it more later I will post again w the color version, and correct the sword length and angle :) I am not used to doing greyscale, I usually directly go into painting w color. But I’m so happy with this. Hope you like it 🤍 kinda looks like he’s stabbing Safiyyah tho 😭 (he’s inspecting his sword and checking sharpness 😭). Lluna’s hair looks wavy and not curly bc she had it brushed and then in two braids, so that unraveled the curls haha
As I mentioned in the chapter, I know O Rubor Sanguinis since childhood because of the soundtrack for the movie Crash, and it also appears in Rome: Total War (lost souls track). I find it so haunting. The Hildegard song in KoH, Nunc gaudeant materna, is sooooo beautiful <3
