The internet has had many blorbos throughout its existence, yet I bare the unique curse of fixating on Henrik Linder of Dirty Loops, whom the genius of I shall never be able to convey to my peers. But he’s a cutie pie. And a bass genius. And a humble player who loves to share the secrets of his craft regardless of his status.
Henrik is the person all of us should be. And did I mention he’s a cutie pie??

Damn, look at this guy. He’s probably shredding bass in some metal band, right?
Yeah, he’s going so hard right now, you can just tell! Imagine the screams of the vocalist as they go into the breakdown portion of the song. The chugging bass drums only interrupted by a snare and crash every full beat…what a great fit for him.
Must be some kind of prog metal - I can only imagine how fast he’s moving if he has to sit down to play!
Or maybe it’s some kind of emo metal? That hair speaks volumes. (It also, coincidentally, has a lot of volume.)
…Or maybe, just maybe, he’s playing the most metal genre of all…
JAZZ FUSION.

(Also, the bassist is named Henrik Linder, and he’s actually a huge sweetie pie)
No puc deixar d’escoltar-los ni de veure lo bé que arriben a tocar. Podria dir que m’he aficionat a Dirty Loops ja que tenen un estil que em recorda molt a Swing Out Sister o a Joe Jackson: toquen el gènere Jazz Pop tant difícil de fer que enganxi a la gent.
Dirty Loops té un estil en el que es combina la expertesa dels seus membres amb els instruments amb el so tant futurista que aporten els sintetitzadors, creant temes molt interessants.
Des de la creació del grup al 2008 només han penjat dos àlbums: Loopified (2014) i Phoenix (Novembre 2020). El tema que avui escoltareu és de de l’àlbum més recent. També es remarca que els seus àlbums no son més que recopilacions dels singles que pengen a les seves xarxes socials i a Spotify. Simplement quan tenen algo ho pengen.
Un gran grup actual que estic segur que encara arribarà molt més lluny!
