Retronauts Episode 102: The Legend of Zelda - Link's Awakening
We didn’t deliberately time this episode to launch at the same time as the new season of Twin Peaks, but I’m always willing to embrace a happy accident. Robin Hood - Henry Gilbert
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"Robin Hood is the best-loved outlaw of all time. In this beautifully illustrated edition, Henry Gilbert tells of the adventures of the Merry Men of the Sherwood Forest - Robin himself, Little John, Friar Tuck, Will Scarlet and Alan-a-Dale, as well as Maid Marian, good King Richard, and Robin's deadly enemies Guy of Gisborne and the evil Sheriff of Nottingham."
Having seen what is going on in the comments section for Fear Effect's Kickstarter, I thought back to various times that this situation has come up and the above article paints a perfect picture as to why "fan disservice" has become a real problem in the game industry. And sadly, as guilty as the industry is for perpetuating it, the truth is consumers have played a regrettably large role in this as "fans" get up in arms over every game, whether it is embracing the T&A or wants to reduce it, you're going to cause a ruckus. I would LIKE to say that the most aggressive voices belong to the Boys Clubbers, but sadly I do occasionally see some .. enthusiastic people on the other side who get just as offensive.
