So I've kinda been in a Picrew phase, and I've created the Greek Gods from my fic "Keeping Up With The Olympians"
At least, how I see them :)
Here's Ares. He's 19 in the fic, and the oldest. He usually has his hair tied back, but I like the look of him with his natural curls. He's full Greek, though born in America. He also looks the most like Zeus, because the kid doesn't suffer enough.
And here's my personal fave, Athena! ( @mer-acle )
In my fic, Athena is half Argentinian (Metis having met Zeus while studying at college) so she has a slightly darker complexion. She does have more Auburn hair, but this is as close as I could get it. She got her scar from when she did martial arts with Pallas (or Paris, if we're going modern-er)
Next we have Apollo and Artemis. I'm not completely satisfied with how Apollo turned out, but the core elements are there. And Artie is just cool. In my fic, Leto's family is Norwegian, so these two have the north-west European features. Art does have black hair though. I think I read somewhere she canonically had black hair.
Here's it's blue though, cos I do what I want.
And, now for Hephaestus. He has shorter hair because he gets overstimulated when it's on his face. And he has Hera's eyes. He's a sweetie-pie an a baby. Even though he's like, fourteen.
Then Hermes :) I love this kid. He looks so innocent when he's a little chaos gremlin on the inside. He takes after Zeus in more subtle ways than Ares, but is (unfortunately) definitely his kid.
And finally, Dionysus. The baby. The tiny little squishy cinnamon roll cutie-bean. Aaaaaaahh. I love this design for him. He's Greek/Italian, with more Zeus-ish colouring. His eyes and smile are all Semele though.
(I have to say; just look at that face! That is the face of a kid who has Frozen on repeat. I want to squish him so bad)
Here's a bonus, because I have no impulse control.
Aphrodite! I think she's the prettiest besides Athena (but I'm biased so..). She does ballet too. I kinda wished there were clips for her braids, but I don't think I could have gotten her any better.
