“It’s about a main character who feels like they don’t necessarily fit in at home but feels there’s something bigger for them out there and that they have so much more to offer and they want to do good and make the world and their community better so they go out of their way to prove their worth to everyone around them (including but not limited to sacrificing themself for someone they love), and in doing so meets a suave, self-sufficient, sarcastic, quick-witted prisoner of their own mind who has been severely hurt by others in the past and has major trust issues and initially attempts to sabotage the protagonist in their journey but ultimately finds it within themself, through nicknames and teasing, to trust themself and their own judgement, finally deciding to help the protagonist despite their initial ulterior motives, accidentally developing incredibly deep feelings for them against their will, despite not having gotten close to anyone in forever and their discomfort in addressing it.”
