Hades

You are now the unofficial co-ruler of the Helheim's paperwork. If you are a mortal, he will constantly check your temperature, worried the chill of the Helheim is getting to you. If you are a deity, he relies on your input, subtly leaning into your space to read over your shoulder.

Hades is a God of immense composure and grace. Having a partner physically attached to him does not faze him in the slightest. He views it as a natural extension of his duty to protect you, especially if you're a human.

He treats your presence as a sign of status. When he walks through the halls of Helheim, he moves with a slow, deliberate pace to ensure you are never jostled or uncomfortable. He often rests a hand on your shoulder or waist, grounding you as he conducts his kingly affairs.

In the quiet of his throne room, he is surprisingly soft. He will often read reports or study maps while you lean against him. He finds your constant presence soothing, as it reminds him that even in the cold depths of the Underworld, he is never truly alone. 

Hades wears an ornate accessory over his right eye. Because of this slight visual limitation on one side, he prefers you to be attached to his left side. It keeps you firmly within his primary line of sight, allowing him to subtly look down and check on you with a soft, affectionate glance whenever he pleases. 

If anyone dares to stare or act disrespectfully, a single cold glance from Hades is enough to silence them. He considers your physical proximity a sacred trust.

And if you were to ever pull away or be not as affectionate as you were before? He'd be distraught. 

For someone so used to you being in his personal space not that he'd ever mind, the sudden and total lack of physical touch from you is a massive psychological shift.

Hades swears that he feels ill when he doesn't get his daily dose of hugs and kisses.

Hercules is naturally affectionate. Being physically inseparable is a dream come true for him, as he thrives on physical reassurance and the ability to keep his loved ones safe within his reach.

He is incredibly proud to have you by his side. Whether he is training or walking through the streets of Valhalla, he is constantly checking in on you. He might carry you if the terrain is rough or if you are tired (when will it be my turn/hj). 

Because you are always in his immediate personal space, Hercules becomes hyper-aware of his movements. He is naturally a bit clumsy, but around you, he practices intense precision. He will hold your hand or rest his arm against yours with the absolute lightest touch, constantly asking, "Am I squeezing too hard? Are you okay?"

Hercules is a "big spoon" type. He LOVES to hold you close, often wrapping his massive arms (🤤) around you while he talks about his day or his hopes for humanity. He is very mindful of your comfort, constantly adjusting his posture so you have the best view or the most support.

He is fiercely protective. Because you are always with him, he feels he can shield you from any danger.

Hercules views your bond as a partnership of the soul, and he would fight any god or monster to ensure you remain safe and happy.

He never forgets his roots as a human boy named Alcides. If you are a mortal, he looks at you with a profound, aching tenderness.

He knows the gods look down on humanity, so he goes out of his way to make you feel like the most important being in Valhalla. He proudly introduces you to Zeus, Loki, and Ares as his equal in every way.

Because you are attached to Heracles, Ares treats you like an automatic best friend. He will bring over giant platters of divine food, constantly weeping about "how beautiful your bond is."

"With you right here against my side, the world doesn’t feel heavy at all. In fact, it feels light as a feather. I think as long as I have your heartbeat matching mine, there isn't a single thing in this universe I couldn't face."

Hercules x (fem) reader

Plot: Loki likes to play his tricks, but reader always sees through it! But how does Hercules fair? And how does reader know?

Tricks. Secrets. Truth.

Valhalla is the realm where the gods reside, paradise. Yet, there were still gods that wanted to cause trouble.

One in particular.

Loki.

Loki, God of Mischief.

Playful, sadistic, aloof and sometimes unhinged. Finding everything for his pleasure and today was no different.

Prey. Locked. Found.

(Name), a simple goddess nothing more, was minding her business in a meadow of flowers making a flower crown for someone.

A certain god of Messenger of Justice, a demi god, with long red hair that she had recently bumped into a while back and developed a crush of course on the demi-god.

His kindness. His smile. His amazing body.

All of which she loved.

Hopefully, the handsome Greek god would like it. After all who could turn down a flower crown, an innocent gesture.

It was no secret among the gods of her crush, it was no secret except for Hercules and Ares.

“(Name)! Hi!”

(Name) recognized that voice anywhere, making her heart skip a beat and placing the flower crown to her chest as though to hide it. Turning around it was exactly who she thought it was.

“Hercules!”

“Hey! How’s my best friend!”

What was once excitement turned into disappointment and sadness.

“….Oh. Hi, Loki. How are you?”

Surprise etched on Hercules face as (Name) turned around and returned to making her flower crown.

“How do you keep knowing?!”

Quickly transforming back Loki was angry that his trick didn’t work. Actually, his trick hasn’t worked once and Loki has always wondered how she managed to know it was him.

“I have my way. Shouldn’t you be playing your tricks on someone else?”

“Well, I would like to know how you see through my disguise every-time. But I guess I’ll just have to keep trying.”

With that, Loki left and the goddess returned back to making her gift.

It was true, (Name) had a sure fire way of seeing through Loki’s disguise. Especially when it came to Hercules.

Months go by and Loki wasn’t any closer to finding out how (Name) managed to see through him every time. Some people of course could see through his disguise such as Odin. But how (Name) was able to see through him confused him a bit.

“Hercules! Hi!”

The Indomitable God, who was talking with Prometheus and the two were interrupted by (Name) with a flower crown. Hercules wasn’t expecting to see (Name) today, but he was happy to see her nonetheless and it seemed Prometheus was as well.

So, Hercules made sure to hug (Name) first.

A tight bear hug was all it takes for Hercules to know. Roughly, pinching (Name)’s cheeks with a serious face.

“Hey, you’re not (Name)! Who are you?”

Prometheus was surprised he was pinching (Name)’s cheeks hard but even more surprised when he believed that this (Name) was an imposter.

Once (Name) heard that angry expression fell upon her face and of course Loki manifested himself while floating in air with a agitated expression on his face.

“What’s with you two? Both of you seeing through my disguise is no fun.”

“Well, you shouldn’t be tricking people anyways. Also, (Name)’s a smart girl of course she would know.”

Loki didn’t like Hercules answer and vanished disappointed that his trick didn’t succeed.

(Name) did eventually show up, the real (Name) and the two shared a hug upon meeting. Giving Hercules a flower crown the demi god felt his face match his red hair as he felt happy and a little bashful.

The two also talked about how Loki tried to trick them and the two seemed relieved they were able to see through Loki’s tricks. But they didn’t mention how they were able to see through Loki’s tricks.

“How are you able to see through Loki’s disguise?”

One day, (Name) decided to ask Hercules a question she had been curious about, after all she knew how she was able to see thru Loki but Hercules was different.

The two were in the meadows where (name) made Hercules’ flower crown, simply laid back and relaxing under blue crystal sky.

“Well, before I could tell by a hug. Everyone has a special way they hug and I could tell. Now it’s by a smile or by presence…I could recognize you from anywhere.”

“Huh?”

“Nothing! How about you? How do you see through Loki’s disguise when he’s me.”

Luckily, the two were laying down in the field of flowers so (Name) couldn’t see how red Hercules’ face was and how bashful he had become has he had whispered the last part of his sentence.

“Oh, that. Well, I notice all of Loki’s pranks because…well..”

Hercules could tell (Name) shy as she also began to whisper, sitting up Hercules reassured her with his bright and beautiful smile. Gathering up her courage (Name) sat up and took a deep breath.

“Well, if you can tell by hugs, and presence. I can tell by smell. I have a great nose.”

It was true, (Name) had a great sense of smell. Most likely the best nose in Valhalla.

Hercules was of course taken back from hearing (Name)’s super power and to see (Name) have a look on her face to say, “Yes, it’s true.”

“Smell? Well-What do I smell like?”

“cedarwood, amber, and vanilla to be exact.”

Twiddling her fingers and responding as though not to sound weird but Hercules seemed to be interested.

“Well, I don’t smell bad.”

“No. Not at all. You smell nice.”

Smiling, (Name) was relieved Hercules didn’t think she was weird or odd, she just had great sense of smell.

“Well, thank you. Am I the best smelling person in Valhalla?”

“Second best. Aphrodite smells divine.”

Remembering how Aphrodite smelled absolutely divine (Name) couldn’t help but smile as she closed her eyes, Hercules on the other hand had a little pout wanting to be number one.

But it’s hard to defeat the goddess of love.

“Speaking of Aphrodite and smells-“

“Don’t! I feel so sorry for the women of Lemnos.”

Both sighed in disbelief at how cruel Aphrodite wrath was, or any god for that manner. The two instead focused and talked about other things, the two could talk for hours and this day wasn’t any different.

The time they spent together the more they would be able to see through Loki’s tricks.

For there could only be truth in love.

Hercules Headcanons (Dreamlight Valley AU)

A/N: FINALLY!!! ANOTHER ADDITION TO MY DREAMLIGHT HAREM!!! Have some headcanons/imagines about what Valley life would be like for Herc! Credits for le dividers~

Herc probably bonds with you a lot right off the bat. Not only is he an affable sweetiepie but you two can relate a lot on the struggles of having powers and people counting on you.

The ruler of the valley and the heir to Zeus’ throne have a lot to talk about unsurprisingly.

Flynn sees him while they’re both walking their noble steeds, Maximus and Pegasus.

Upon seeing him for the first time, Flynn probably thinks to himself, “Maybe big noses aren’t so bad.”

Their horses like to “play” (aka ragebait each other into oblivion until they finally bond over how chaotic they are) while the boys just watch and shake their heads.

They exchange beauty tips from time to time, though Flynn is extremely jealous of Herc’s natural beauty since gods don’t really need hairspray or anything like that.

Maui takes a shine to the God of Strength, now that he has someone who he is an equal to when it comes to muscle-power he likes to roughhouse with him and have playful debates about the different lore of their other counterparts!

They often egg each other on in friendly competitions, though it’s best they’re held on a floating island to keep your valley from ending up in shambles. Learned that the hard way on Dazzle Beach once. Sure, they found out who could make the biggest sand castle, but you also had to clean all of that up… And your inventory is only so big.

Gaston is on the complete opposite side of that spectrum though

The amount of one-sided beef Gaston has with this man is INSANE

He is always trying to challenge Herc to displays of strength while Herc is just trying to be helpful ;-;

“Oh, did you need help lifting this?” He says innocently as he lifts an entire boulder Chris Redfield style and has the Frenchman about to start a full-blown crashout

Hades cannot catch a break either. It’s Hercules this, Hercules that, what ever happened to his little minion..?

(He secretly misses you and is jealous but he will not say so under any circumstances, he’ll just cold shoulder you and wait for you to grovel.)

At least Ralph has someone to bond with over accidentally breaking things all the time.

Rest assured you won’t have to raise your royal pickaxe when he’s around, the rocks just evaporate at a single flick!

Oh, pumpkin farming with no inventory space? Herc’s gotcha, he can hold a mile high stack in his arms or help you harvest them himself!

Of course you have to spoil him with some pumpkin pie afterwards.

Generally speaking though a lot of the structures in the valley are protected to some extent by Dreamlight magic. With all the supervillains and whatnot running amok it’d be silly not to at the very least enchant the important architecture. Keeps the bad guys from destroying buildings and keeps Herc from accidentally leveling a whole biome so he’s happy.

He thinks very highly of you, it’s quite sweet.

In return for saving him he tries to chisel a statue in your honor but it’s… Well… It’s the thought that counts.

Hades 100% uses this opportunity to show him up and make an even bigger, better statue of YOU! … Clinging to Hades’s leg… While he sits on a flame throne… Nice…

Mulan keeps trying to train with him and he humors it a bit, swapping regimens here and there. She’ll go through one of Phil’s obstacle courses and he’ll practice his lacking tactical skills and do his best to aim a bow and arrow.

He thinks he won’t learn much from it at first but a real hero never stops training, her insight helps his battle IQ even if the physical challenges aren’t present and vice versa.

Heck him and Merida even start to bond and they all train together at some point (though, they might have to start enchanting the bows at some point or else they’ll keep breaking).

He gets really puffed in the chest only when Hades in particular is around you, attempting to guard you like a loyal cerberus.

Other villains he’s weary of naturally, but Hades in particular he worries will trick you into some underhanded deal and he does NOT want to see that happen again.

He is quite surprised to see how well Hades manages to coexist in the valley though, and you don’t have the heart to tell him it was all thanks to a magical typewriter in another dimension… It’s a long story.

Other than that, Herc is very content in the valley!

He always has something to do, whether it be helping you with your royal duties or trying to find a constellation in the stars that encapsulates your royalness, he’s happier here than he ever was in his realm.

Hercules has really present in his mind the memories of the old days, the days of his childhood where he watched from afar the rest of the kids playing, pushed aside because of his strength and clumsiness, no one wanted to be with him and yet you insisted to be with him

Maybe it was the the child-like innocence or that you were naturally kind, perhaps you just thought he was funny in a good way and you wanted to be his friend, either way you always found your way to his side and with a big smile invited him over to play, even if that meant that you would end casted away too that never stopped you. Even if it was just the two of you playing together you always laughed alongside with him, even if others started to laugh at you just for the fact that you decided to be friends with him you never backed off, even if the words of other kids were cruel enough to bring tears to your eyes you always defended your friendship

And it is because of that, along with his parents, you became the most important person in his life, why he clinged to your side and followed you around whenever he could, trying his hardest to make you smile, swearing to himself that he will put this strength to good use and he will protect you, that he will keep you safe and happy with the same strength that has casted you two away from the rest

And that is why, when he was about to start his journey he made sure to say a proper goodbye and leave with the promise to come back, why even when he started to become more and more famous you were still in his mind, when he was in his journey to become a hero and was able to visit his homeland you were one of the people he came back for, one of the ones he was sharing everything he achieved with, because even if he now has grown and changed a lot there was something that would never change, the love he holds for you, the gratitude for having you in his life

Because even if he looks like a totally new person, even if all of Greece knows his name and calls him a hero, at your side he is still the same child that used to cling to your side, the one that sometimes got flustered and shy and yet that never stopped him from smiling and following you, the one that swore to spend the rest of his days at your side, that he will forever make sure that there is always a smile in you face, because he loves when you smile

So my idea was, that the reader is also part of the friend group but instead of hercules helping icarus kiss cassandra, icarus and cassandra try to help hercules get a kiss with reader since he is scared to possibly make the friendship awkward cause he is not as bold as icarus if you need more help with more details for this just tell me so I can try to help as much as possible :D

"You're staring again." Icarus pointed out when he realized Hercules wasn't even listening to him.

No, for the 100th time just that morning he had caught the blue eyed boy staring at the girl who was with Cassandra, helping Cass get ready for her date with Icarus that night.

"I can't help it. She is so beautiful." Hercules sighed, leaning on something, looking dreamily at the girl who he had long been admiring.

"Ya know if you like her so much why don't you just tell her? Sweep her off her feet." Hercules blushed at his friend's words, hiding his face in his hands. "I'm sure she wouldn't mind, I think she likes you."

"It already took me weeks to gain the courage to become her friend. Her friendship is so precious to me, I don't....I don't wanna lose that." Hercules wishes he could believe she would like him back but when Y/n turns and looks at him, he brightens, waving excitedly. "You gotta just...kiss the girl!" Cassandra and Y/n were walking towards them now and Hercules slapped a hand over Icarus's mouth.

"Hey Herc!" Y/n smiled at him, a soft, happy look on her face. "Hi, you, uh, you look....you look nice today...?" His words seemed to fall flat but the smile on her face widened.

"Thanks!" Hercules managed to offer her his arm, which she took, causing the boy to blush at her unfazed and perky attitude as she chatted to Cassandra. Cassandra and Icarus had been attempting to help Hercules kiss their oblivious friend for several days now and Cassandra was trying to glare home to Herc, that he needed to do it.

Hercules knew what Cass was trying to say through the threat of her eyes and he seemed to be trying to hide behind Y/n.

"Alright, well, you two have fun, me and Herc are gonna go to the river." Hercules blushed harder when he was dragged off by the woman towards the river, which was a shallow, clear affair where Y/n liked to wade.

One of his hands dipped into the water and took a hold of a flower, giving it to her, she smiled up at the demigod. Hercules hesitated for a moment before leaning forward, gently kissing her lips.

And as she kissed back, cupping his face, loud cheers from Icarus and clapping from Cassandra rang out.

Shiva (+ Wives):

- He loves you and all his wives equally, and while you were recently added into the relationship BUT TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THAT YOU NEVER FEEL LEFT OUT, not when Shiva himself has to keep all four of his arms wrapped around you just because Parvati, Kali, and Durga HAVE BEEN HOGGING YOUR ATTENTION ALL DAY.

- Shiva is so proud to show you off to the other gods, honestly. Making them all jealous and inflating his own ego a bit more.

- He doesn't just show you off, he likes to show off for you. When he's playfully fighting another God then he'll be sure to really flex his muscles and put on a show for you and wink, making you all shy and flustered which is ADORABLE in his eyes.

- He also doesn't just love you for your looks of course, your heart is so incredibly kind and loving. Which contrasts very nicely to his recklessness and sometimes violent side. He smiles seeing you with his son because you always uplift him and treat him like any mother would with their child.

- HE ALSO LOVES TO DANCE WITH YOU AND SO DO HIS WIVES. Like, they invite you and you stun them with your gracefulness and elegance, such poise and control in your steps.

- You were absolutely enchanting, even by a God's standards and everyday, Shiva is just in awe of you. When he's bored and lazy, he asks you if you can dance with him and gives you big puppy eyes to convince you so you roll your eyes and stand up and he gets all happy.

- Your love for humans can lead to...conflicts. Like, he already knew it and he found it odd but endearing but he still has his own opinions about them and they're not very good until Ragnarok happens.

- But, like, when the God's vote for humanity's execution and you're horrified at how they could all be so cruel, Shiva just genuinely can't wrap his head around it but he'll comfort you, a bit guiltily.

- So there is a gap in which you need space from them because its an important topic and while all couples fight, it feels colder in his home because he and everyone else misses you so much.

- NO BUT ALSO, LIKE, AFTER HIS FIGHT, HE STARTS TO SEE WHY YOU LIKE THEM AND HE APOLOGIZES and you're just concerned because HIS ARMS ARE LITERALLY FUCKED UP and you just dote on him.

- Ngl, his wives kinda hate him for a bit now (not actually) because while you help him recover, he acts like a big baby just so you can comfort him and coddle him and give him all your attention and shooting his wives a smug smirk as they roll their eyes but smile as you take care of him because it feels so nice to have you back.

Hercules:

- PLEASE YOU TWO ARE LITERALLY A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN, LIKE, YOU GUYS ARE LEGIT THE SWEETEST COUPLE EVER😭

- The fact that he used to be human was what drew you to him, like, Ares and the other Greek gods were celebrating and Ares is all: "Woah, (Y/n)'s been looking at you the entire time." and Loki bitterly pouts: "Ugh, of course the human turned God caught her attention right off the bat."

- Hercules doesn't understand why they were making a big deal and turned around to see you...only to make direct eye contact with you and immediately getting all shy and flustered. You greeted him with such warmness and you talked about what it was like for him to become a God, then he started to talk about his life as a human.

- And unlike other gods who side eyed him or looked down on him, your eyes were filled with such wonder and awe at him. You had so many questions for humanity and the way you seemed to be fascinated with them makes it so clear to Hercules that you truly do have a passion for humanity just like him.

- THE OTHER GODS THINK YOU'RE SO WEIRD FOR IT BUT YOU GUYS DON'T CARE, he answers your questions about humanity and even takes you back to his home when he visits his friends and they're ALL STUNNED BY YOU.

- "I-Is that Aphrodite!?" and you just look at them and smile and their hearts beat 10x faster as you're all: "Aw, you humans truly are too kind. I am not the Goddess of Love, I am the Goddess of (insert what you want to be the Goddess of)."

- Your elegance also compliments his strength and almost brutish build, one thing you absolutely adore about Hercules is despite his strength, he always treats you so gently and is always mindful of his strength when he's with you.

- PLEASE HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES TO CARRY YOU ADMIRE YOUR BEAUTIFUL FORM, NO MATTER YOUR BODY TYPE, YOU ARE THE MOST PERFECT THING HE HAS EVER SEEN.

- No because when he volunteers to fight for the God's, you were confused but he explains why he's doing it and you just supporting him and having nothing more than the utmost confidence that he can guide the God's into seeing their wrongs.
