Tengo la sensación poderosa de que me encuentro sometido a la influencia de cosas, o de cuestiones, qué quedaron incompletas y sin que les dieran respuesta mis padres, mis abuelos y otros antepasados míos más lejanos.

it's been close to 15 years, and andy hadn't changed at all. julian had often wondered what it was like to be the perfect child, but they had never gotten that far. they never got the chance to, not when andy did everything right, and jules was abandoned by both their sister and their mother right after they became an adult. after andy and amelia left, julian was supposed to never see them again. so why was andy standing in their doorway, now? ' they try to hide the emotion in their voice, but tone is filled with shock and anger. they conceal the gun they had loaded to open the door, quickly shoving it into the back of their waistband before looking past their sister. jules couldn't see anyone watching them, but that didn't mean they weren't. hand reaches out to pull andy inside by the elbow, a bit rough, closing the door and locking it behind them. turning back to andy, jules has to try and keep their composure.
