glancing down at the little girl and then the shattered glass of the tv, he shakes his head. he may have kicked it to get it to work, but he certainly did not break it. ‘ see, that’s where you’re wrong, my little amiga. ’ he chuckles, gesturing to the tv and the shards of what was once the the screen. ‘ the tv simply broke itself. ’ raising his eyebrows, he does even wait for her to respond or protest. ‘ wouldn’t you agree? ’

Marjan moves through the burning building calling for Sofia. She hears a soft cry for help and she starts toward the sound. "Sofia?!" She shouts, flicking her light on so she can see through the smoke. She sighs in relief when she sees the girl. She removes her mask and helmet so the girl isn't scared. "I'm a firefighter, I'm here to help you out." She says, holding her arms out so that Sofia can run into them is she wants and so Marjan can carry her to safety.

❛ How did you get so 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙡? ❜ He had a look of horror on his face as he looked from Sofia to the 𝙝𝙪𝙜𝙚 𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙨, and back to Sofia again. He remembered when he could take his daughter to a theme park and only have to ride the baby rides — he used the excuse that she was so little to hide the fact he 𝙝𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 rollercoasters. He'd only agreed to take her to a place like this because he was 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 she'd still be too miniscule. But now, looking around, there were kids nearly half her size (maybe an exaggeration) waiting in queues to ride the super quick ride Mark was sure he'd feel queasy after riding.

She was nervous. She'd spend a thousand minutes with her daughter but, whenever she went away and came back, Arizona was nervous to see her again. She worried if Sofia would be happy to be home, or if she'd rather be living it large in the 𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙡𝙚𝙚𝙥𝙨 — and now she was worrying whether or not Sofia would be angry that she had sent Meredith to collect her from the airport. She didn't 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 to have to do that.

She'd cleaned Sofia's room from top to toe. New toys slept on the bed and ornaments had new homes on her daughter's shiny, new shelves. Now she waited for the doorbell to ring, anxiously twiddling her thumbs and chewing her bottom lip.

Arizona's home wasn't picture perfect, but it 𝙬𝙖𝙨 home.

beavis’ eyes light up at the idea. last year, it didn’t go over so well due to his age—and also he wore his tighty-whities on his head and said he was going as ‘nads. that didn’t go over too well with the older folks. ‘ yeah! heh. what are you planning to dress up as? ’ he asks, hoping maybe this kid has more creative suggestions than anything he can come up with. something that’ll really charm the people with candy. ‘ what do you think i should be? ’
