8: How does your character feel about religion?ok heres the thing: Lovecraft knows hes a god, knows his gods that he deals with are real, knows that earth has no more gods of its own (see: The Dream Quest Of Unknown Kadath, since lovecraft novels are canon to him). That, as far as he’s concerned, is the only relevant and correct religion. if earth had a god similar to any god in the more common religions, that god is certainly not around anymore. but he’s also aware that elder god cults are incredibly rare, and doesnt mind this too much. he finds religion stupid, but not enough to actually hold any issue with religious people solely because they’re religioushowever, he is incredibly annoyed by any person trying to push their religion on others and especially on him (see: hawthorne and his preachiness. that is 99% of the reason he refuses to work with hawthorne and rather hates him). lovecrafts view is that most human religions are irrelevant and fake, but as long as people keep it out of his way he really doesn’t care.

21: What are your character’s manners like? What is their type of hero? Whom do they hate?His manners could........ definitely be better. Lovecrafts super blunt to the point of being rude, and doesn’t bother to learn social niceties. He really only does whatever he finds most efficient, though he has learned basic conduct manners for the sake of not making a scene and ergo having people leave him the fuck alone when he has to go out in public. He does not have a type of hero! there’s no one he genuinely looks up to, even the other gods he tends to hold in either neutral or not-particularly-pleased views. He hates anyone who bothers him excessively or makes him do something he really doesn’t want to. Or who make things more difficult than they need to be. Long lasting grudges are reserved for people who don’t leave him alone when he makes it clear he wants them to let him be, and for people who actually manage to sorely hurt him like chuuya managing to kill him.
