9 Reasons why Devcom in College

Hi, I’m Zianne. I came from a private school. Since I started studying, I didn’t encountered stage fright. I love to talk to everybody. I love when they listen to me. I can’t dance but I can sing, but I rather speak to strangers and make friends. I am one of the honor students from elementary to high school. But when I was able to reach 3rd year, I was tempted with my peers. I was then broke, I already knew how to drink and smoke. I was so disappointed to myself, I crave for self pity. Then I graduated and decided to change my religion. I was handed with help in God’s grace. Now I share my experience to other people, I gave flyers and brochures from our church. I also lead bible studies. I took up Development Communication.

My name is Abigail. I’m so talkative since my elementary years. But because of that attitude, I excel so much. High school was never been so hard for me, I came from different schools. Just to try how’s life of other teenagers like me. I toured from public to private and ended up in a Christian school. I was then contented because I was able to accomplish my mission and that is to have many friends. Even though there are rumors that I was been kicked out and other reasons, I still stick to my principle. I was truly amazed of what was the world outside the box. I want to know every special meaning of every individual. I’m a Development Communication student.

This is Nheil. I love listening different music. My mom said when she’s still pregnant with me; she always puts the radio beside her tummy. I think I have evidence why I’m like this. I came from a Christian school since I started grade one. I play basketball but focuses on the technique on how to escape from different opponents. I relate my lifestyle to other people. I can say that life is like playing basketball; if it’s not your turn to shoot the ball then do not give up! Keep the faith and defense until chance catches you. Life for me is all about chances. So when it comes to be your chance, grab it like an opportunity. So far with that, I hide my dream seeing myself being an announcer in playing basketball. I love to operate different sound transitions. I decided to be a radio announcer. Development Communication is my course.

Hello everyone, my name is Charlie! I’m proud to gay. I really love putting art on how I speak English. I so love Oprah! I want to be in talk shows, like her. Knowing different celebrities and be known for different magazine covers. I came from a private school somewhere away from the city. Though I grew outside the town, I developed my skills especially in dancing. I used dancing to be discovered on how am I good in making programs in school. My wishes were granted and now I continued the job. I’m on a call on job, the community will just have to mail me and I’ll be their host for the rest of the night. Sometimes, I preferred in pageants. I earn money and help my family through.  I can imagine myself having my best pose in the vogue magazine or readers digest cover being idolized by the world. I’m now taking Development Communication.

  Hi it’s Dominique, I came from a private school. My life goes to one, two and three. And that is to wake up, live and survive. But when I woke up, I start my day imagining things I want to do. I am living with different cds, dvds, tapes, and film collections. I really love movies, all kinds of them. Horror, animation, romance, action, name it! I really love all of them. I was so inspired of this habit and my parents also support all the things I wanted to do in my life. My room was probably surrounded with posters of my idols and different cases of my films. Because of that, I ask my mom to buy me a video camera and a laptop. I think that’s good enough to make a movie. Now, I really am making short films. Thanks to my mom! I’m Eliza. I really am fluent in English and I can’t deny it. I am introduced to different debate contests, I find my English voluble and very useful. It might lead me to success. I grew away from the town, where I come across different kinds of scarcity and deprivation. But then it didn’t stop me in reading many kinds of books. I came from a public school, where my mama teaches. I strive hard to commit great good grades and somehow raise my family from poverty. I wrote the story of my life in small piece of notebook. It’s like making documentary to me. I was motivated and instigated to whatever I am doing to myself. I’ve been making documentaries since then, knowing every single life of nature. Last I was interrogating some teenagers like me, I was able to collect many of them who carries STD. My course is Development Communication.

Hello! My name is Cecille. I came from a public school here in the town. I can’t tell you anything but one thing I know is that I want to be a teacher but at the same time a communication student. I so love making reports in front of my classmates, handling them with all my heart just to be understood in a simpler and in a better way. For me, education will surely lift our country from poverty but in a sense with exact communication in the population in our country. I write about how I can be a change in the community, and I read about how every people handle their situations in life. I want to bestow my life to educate. But at the same time, I also crave for making journals and commentary on the economy of our country. Persons like me who concerned these kinds of tribulations are sociable and is very adoptive to nature. I find myself sociable and adoptive. I engaged myself to Development Communication.

My father is a writer in one of the most famous news papers in our country. The traits of being a journalist of my father were distributed to me and my brothers. When I read the writings of my papa, I am more challenged and inspired to write either. Besides, my father wants us to be like him. I write news, opinions, feature, and lovely poems. I am a staff writer in our school publication. Many students appreciate my writings because I relate it to many lives. I just don’t write for myself but I write for general. Though I am just a small speck of the universe, I believe that my writings will lead to different success. I fight for freedom of expression akin to my father. For me, news is very important. I can say that I am a part of the community because without us journalist, the community may not know what is happening to where they inhabit. I’m Rain and I’m a Development Communication student.
