“Marinette,” Chloé started slowly, putting her hands on Marinette's shoulders. “Who did you talk to?”

She blinked. “Eh?”

Chloé's gaze wasn't on her face.

Marinette looked down at her hand, noticing the initials that had appeared on her ring finger.

“What the fuck.” It wasn't a question. “When did that get there?”

“Hell if I know,” was Chloé's response to that. “You're the one that was grinding on randoms. Why don't you go harass everyone you've spoken to so far?”

“I danced with anyone!” she exclaimed, pressing her palms into her eyes to try and calm down. “This—I didn't expect to meet my soulmate, okay? I just wanted to have some fun.”

Chloé made a disapproving noise. “It only appears if they spoke to you, idiot.”

“That's so informative, thank you,” she ground out, shooting her a glare. “Are you going to help me or not?”

Chloé’s idea of helping was buying another round of drinks.

Marinette finished hers quickly.

At some point, Marinette's bright idea was to stumble towards anyone she came across, holding up her ring finger and frantically gesturing towards it. Her drunken intentions were understood immediately, thankfully, and a few offered to help her out and question whether anyone had had their initials appear that evening without them knowing.

Chloé supplied more drinks.

Marinette's feet hurt.

She wobbled over to the bar, resting her face in her arms as she breathed out a sigh.

“You okay?” someone asked.

She made a garbled noise in return.

“I'll take that as a yes.”

Marinette responded to that by holding up her ring finger.

“I thought you were flipping me off at first,” the stranger said with a laugh. “If you're that distraught, can I cheer you up by buying you a drink?”

She snorted.

“Your friend said I should apologise.”

She lifted her head up at that, brow furrowed in confusion.

“This is yours, right?” he questioned, showing his own finger with a wide smile.

“You!” she accused, standing upright and lost on what to say other than that. Instead of words, she gestured between of them, flustered.

“Me,” he agreed, amusement clear in his voice. “I'm Adrien, by the way.”

It was overwhelming. “Marinette.”

“So,” Adrien said. “About that drink?”

She nodded. “You're buying.”

He grinned. “I can do that.”

Whenever these hiatuses start I fall into some AU or ship and hyper focus on it for a while, and this time it's Felinette so I'm glad you're all enjoying it as much as I am (≧▽≦)

I ended up writing out the rest of this comic run a few days ago and it looks like there will be a total of 9 parts (so 6 left). I'm going to try and update it once a week but I'm not sticking to a strict schedule, so we'll see.

I want to keep making Felinette beyond this comic, specifically animation(s) or maybe a legit long form comic, so hopefully I'll have time!

Sentimonster!Adrien theory is disproved by the Cataclysm scene in Miraculer, which was much different from Reflekdoll's. I mean, he damaged his ribs, he didn't go berserk, and that is as human as it can get. So, that settles it.

I was expecting to get Adrienette or MariChat, but I was kinda surprised when I got Ladrien. But I am a sucker for blushy babies and mutual pining, so I guess I'm alright. Thanks for the awesome quiz, it was so much fun to take!

Can you please explain what the witch au means?

It doesn’t have to be anything specific, if it inspires you for something that’s all that matters!Typically, the AU is portrayed as Witch!Marinette and Cat!Chat Noir. As in, Adrien turns into a cat either voluntarily, by a curse, or at a certain time of the day. It depends on the choice of the writer/artist. And of course, a black cat is a witch’s best friend.
