Hermie: The warlock replacement of the group. Hasn’t yet realised that Jodie is his demonic patron and everything is primed to go very poorly when he does find out. When both his scene partner and will they-won’t they companion are stopped, Hermie decided to step up into the role of hero. For mostly self serving reasons.

I initially wanted to make him a wild magic sorcerer curtesy of scam, but it felt fun to match them up with the original teen classes

Brad Schmegan: Was Baptised, thus the cleric. Joined the group when he learned about what his father was doing.

Under explored daddy issues makes him fit in perfectly with the others

Hero Oak Swallows Garcia: Vengeance Paladin, doesn’t care to save the world but will save her brother.

Erica Drippens: Horse girl is the clear choice for a ranger. Technically not an npc and technically less daddy issues, but the character is hilarious and I Need her dynamic.

This is all stupid and underdeveloped but tell me yall understand.

It’s just Lark and Sparrow restarting the cycle Henry spent so much time trying to break. Henry was angry, but he was never cruel, and he tried to raise his kids to do the same but he didn’t

Because Lark and Sparrow are so cruel. Cruel to Hero. Cruel to Normal. Cruel to each other (because sleeping with your brothers wife is undoubtedly an act of cruelty). They are Henry broken in two, Sparrow with his love and Lark with his anger, but that break has caused the cruelty to leak out.

And there’s no forgiving that.
