Uh YES I'm OBSESSED with your BIG bind! The typesetting and mise en page alone must've taken fucking ages, not to mention the fucking sequins! Infinite kudos!

And if we're sharing first bind horror stories...

I didn't know how to print signatures of a pre-existing book pdf so it's a purely glued spine where I tried (and failed) to align all my papers as straight as I could (passed the gay test lmao)... And then when I went to make the cover I fully miscalculated my spine dimensions and ended up with this giant gap LOL

This book changed my life in a million ways though, and not just for finding-new-hobbies reasons, so I'm infinitely grateful for where I started almost 4 years ago, where I am now, and where I'm going!

(and I've already got my next project all picked out cuz I have ZERO chill lmfao)

Side note for anyone interested...this is the Hero's Journal and it turns your days and to-do lists into a journeyquest! It came into my life at exactly the right time and literally helped me change my whole trajectory. It's also the reason I have a dragon tattooed on me but shh spoilers

100 Days of Productivity | Day 23

This was a great plan for the day until I passed out shortly after lunch because I'm still recovering from my second dose of the COVID vaccine. I eventually got up and accomplished more grading, though.

100 Days of Productivity | Day 2

I'm coming to realize that "productivity" isn't "doing as much as you every possibly could in a day", but more like its pushing yourself just enough to get something accomplished in a day. So that's what I'm going to aim for right now!

I need to get caught up on grading for my classes, so today is:

figuring out haw to do that without dying

prioritizing the list so that it can be done efficiently

getting started!

100 Days of Productivity | Day 9

We are, no matter what else happens, human. - The mentor

Graded 2 full assignments today for the 300 level class. It's so much faster than grading for the 400 level class, which .. I guess makes sense. It's just not fun to have to do. I have about 3 weeks so if I can keep making progress like this I should be okay.

Now I'm rewarding myself with a little Star Trek:TNG.

I feel a little head-empty today, but I still got a good chunk of grading done today! Just need to check in on some things for my mentees and I think I can call today productive ^^

Yesterday wasn't so fantastic, productivity wise - I still got stuff done, but now I understand why we post these updates after succeeding at the productivity thing and not as a statement of purpose at the beginning of the day x')

But we learn and we move on and we'll slowly get more efficient!
