#heroclix mod

Way back when, I was really into modding Heroclix, especially when there weren’t good representations of certain characters. I’ve recently been playing clix again, and would love to use some of those old mods...but dials from 10 years ago haven’t aged well. Some I’m coming up with more modern dials, and touching up the figures while I’m at it. This one had been a Checkmate Roy Harper, but I really like it for the modern street-level Clint Barton, so I redid the paint job and here we are! I think the original was made from a Robin with bonus archer bits and a new head.

Aiden Darrow's/Ruin's mother, and the woman Wilson Fisk/Kingpin couldn't kill! Even after survivng a drive-by from hitmen hired by the Kingpin, there is no stopping her from seeking justice and avenging the death of her husband. Simple repaint of the new Jessica Jones "What If?" Heroclix figure. Picture is dark, but she has golden brown skin and a brown trenchcoat.

Intergalactic bounty hunter, and bane of Ruin's existence. Although Ludok may be an exceptional tracker and marksman overall, he specializes in symbiotes! This was a fun piece to make, as it required breaking two pieces, and a fair amount of Green Stuff, to put him together. Very happy with how this Heroclix modded/custom figure came out!

First image was of a 3 Person Free-For-All match I played in (and won!) with friends, and the second image was a 1 vs 3 match against a colossal figure (Tester) and their two heralds (which we managed to win, despite my crap dice rolls throughout)!

Really enjoy the Ruin, Clemency, Spider-man team I am currently rolling with, for 300 points. May swap out my current Spider-man for the 100 point Super Rare one from the Superior Foes of Spider-man though.

Really cool to use my two custom Heroclix figures, and glad to see that they aren’t overpowered or underpowered, after numerous playtests and feedback among friends.

This game is a lot more fun than I ever expected, and it’s a shame that I didn’t get into it sooner. Well, better late than never, right?

Clemency Heroclix Custom Figure

Painting is still a little wonky, but I am really pleased with how this came out! Second of three planned modded Heroclix figures that I’ve made of my own!

Started out with a Iron Man MK 42, used Green Stuff to fill in the chest and give her the more rounded helmet that she should have, and then painted over the areas that needed to be changed.

Grateful once again for HCTools site, as I was able to create my own card and dial to go along with the figure. Sadly, the base design is smaller than the actual base, so I had to cut out sections and slap it on. Looks really tacky, but will do for now, for play!

For anyone wondering what the Team Ability symbol is, it’s the Inhuman Team Ability, which works exactly like the Fantastic 4 Team Ability.

I’ll post up her bio, like I did for Aiden Darrow/Ruin, when I have the opportunity.

Next figure will be the intergalactic bounty hunter, and symbiote slayer extraordinaire, Ludok!
