I'm a heroesgate truther, if such thing even exists

I refuse to accept that "heroes" is not in the wsqk vinyl aka the soundtrack

I mean, they already have "another brick in the wall pt.2" what's stopping them from including "heroes" which talks about two lovers and the goddamn berlin wall... IT FITS SO WELL😭🙏

unless you are crazy enough like me to believe that including it would be a huge spoiler bc I know those guys have been around here and know we think of that song as a byler song🚶🚶🚶hmmmm... I hope so, yeah

This is probably insignificant, but has anyone noticed how in the version of „Heroes“ by Peter Gabriel that is played when Mike hugs Karen crying after Wills body was dragged out of the lake and when Mike hugs Karen after the Byers move away,

It has the lyrics „I, I wish I could swim“ but the original song by David Bowie has the lyrics „I, I wish you could swim“

Now given the context of the first scene (Will supposedly having drowned) this song sounds as though it is from Will‘s pov.

Obviously we know that the song „Heroes“ is a romantic song specifically about a love thats not supposed to happen

Cause we’re lovers, and that is a fact. Yes we’re lovers, and that is that. Though nothing will keep us together. We can beat them for ever and ever.

So I was thinking… Obviously we know how people believe that after having the Peter Gabriel cover in S1 and S3 (not season 2 nor 4 so there is a pattern) that it will play in S5 but this time the original version by Bowie.

If this is the case imagine how it would fit into the Byler storyline.

The Peter Gabriel version could be in Will‘s pov due to the change of the „you“ to „I“ in the line „I, I wish you/I could swim“

Then in S5 assuming that Mikes feelings are revealed, the original song is played where it’s from Mikes pov because he wishes Will could swim „I, I wish you/I could swim“ This time the love song comes from Mike.

I hope this makes sense!

Aaaand we're officially in the downfall timeline. Meet Legend, the Hero(ine) of Legend, and Asteria, ALTTP's Zelda. Her name comes from the Greek goddess of stars and nighttime divination-- a worthwhile name, given her ability to talk to people in their dreams, especially Legend. Legend (a trans woman who uses exclusively she/her) is the oldest of the Links at 28, and Asteria is one of the older Zeldas, age 26. She's deeply skilled in magic, particularly with dream and sleep magic, and has been teaching Legend whatever she can. Legend has put away her sword and taken up a sorcerer's staff, specializing in elemental attacks. The staff doubles as a cane that helps with her chronic pain in her knees and ankles. A link between worlds and Triforce heroes have not happened yet (and likely won't in the Heroes Gate timeline).

EYYY it's the t4t pirate monarchs! Waker and Tetra took impossibly long to draw despite being so simple. Who woulda guessed? Waker and Tetra are a part of Heroes Gate/Zeldas Universe, a Links Meet and Zeldas Meet AU, respectively. Both are nonbinary, with Waker being bigender, but primarily presenting with masculinity, and Tetra being genderfluid, but primarily presenting with femininity. For both of them, this is because of their lack of attachment to gender-- they dont care if people view them as masc or fem (respectively), as they dont care much about their gender, so this is easiest. they're too busy stealin from the rich and givin to the poor!

Waker is missing his right leg at the thigh down, and uses forarm crutches, which make for lovely weapons in a pinch ;)

aaaand we're finished! so much has changed since i first started heroes gate (including having now bloomed into a related zeldas meet au and not just a links meet!), but it wasn't until i set out to redesign my guys, gals, and other heroes that i realized just how much had. moment of silence for spirit tracks and albw link and zelda-- i would have loved to include them, but alas, it was too much.

here are our final link and zeldas, this time from the original loz and adventure of link. bramble, or the hero of hyrule, is a soft spoken, shy 14 year old, and very close to his royal family, briar ( adventures of link zelda, whose name is taken from briar rose, or sleeping beauty!) and amoranth (LOZ1 zelda, who is brave and strong despite her kingdom falling to ganon, not unlike the fibrous plant and it's ability to give higher defense!)

i'm not a confident enough artist to commit to making an official comic for heroes gate, but did think it would be fun to play with Link/Sky's nightmare from the very beginning of the AU. if yall like it enough, i might do Lana's conversation with Sky in the dream world/sacred realm as well? it would be great practice!
