First, I wanna thank God for patience, then, my daughters for the drive, next, those who helped me along the way whether blood or bond, y’all family for life, and last but not least, myself for staying true all the way through. Now, anyone who knows me knows how much I hate the institutionalized education system. I once was in college a year after HS, (Class of 2005, 👴🏼 LOL), but then I dropped out after two semesters, (2006), and then, the 3 ugliest years of my life transpired, so I joined the Marine Corps, (2009-2014). After 5 yrs of honorable service, and the birth of my daughters, I worked for a year, and THEN, I got back in college, (2015), . . . so this was hard on a spiritual level. However, the academic aspect was easy. It was during this time, I learned a lot about life, human nature, and how to thrive when both aforementioned factors are no longer in my control! Funny how this realm is ya know? It feels like one minute you’re attending your first day, and the next, you’re graduating! Haha, I know that’s what it felt like to me.
