Wilted dreams? I found this wilted rose on the stairs of a church. I thought it lovely in the morning sun. Little did I know that as i took this photo,my friend,Bill S. took his last breath; syringe still in arm. He was unable to fend off the dark shadows of addiction. This photo is dedicated to Bill and his life. I loved this guy for his open mind, humor, intense intellect, and the loyalty he had to those who cared for him. He just wasn't able to care for himself. This was heartbreaking. His life mattered greatly and he helped more people than he knew to stay sober. Rest peacefully, dear friend.....I'll never forget!
