finn sees poe take a hit and he yells out, but cant do more than that, has to keep fighting, keep his focus. poe goes down and ends up sliding into a trench full of red dirt. they see each other when it's all over and it's like d'qar all over again and the world stills as they run to hug each other and maybe finns half crying but it's ok because poes there, and he sees rey in the distance hugging leia with someone he assumes is luke and its ok theyre all here its over for now

also like u know how when finn sees poe again for the first time since the crash and realises he’s alive and he goes “poe ?!??! poe dameron ?!!!!!! ur alive !!???” and races towards him like thats exactly how poe introduced himself “i’m poe, poe dameron” idk im crying finn remembers their first meeting so well im

finn yelling up “thats one hell of a pilot” in the exact same excited tone he used when flying w poe the first time when he thought poe had died back on jakku ?!?!?!?

if anyone in the new trilogy has a “”force bond”” its them

me, thinking about finnpoe: man dont u just love how they care about each other, how theyre instantly so ride or die for each other, so genuinely r concerned for each others well-being and r happy and excited for each others successes im crying theyre so good
