It’s Pollinator Week at BotD! The pollinator garden is often “buzzing” even at night - here is a small Crambid moth (Herpetogramma sp.) sipping nectar from a mountain mint plant last August.

A beautiful specimen of a Zigzag Herpetogramma Moth (Herpetogramma thestealis)...I think. Never 100% sure of the species in this tough genus.

Herpetogramma licarsisalis. It was certainly a sod to identify, but the name actually refers to its diet of grass. AKA Grass Webworm or Tropical Grass Webworm. From the Spud Shed, again.
