HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY TESSA ♡ ♡ ♡
☽ AUedits - kierarktina as avengers
↳ text by @herwndale
Cristina won the video game with a killing blow. Mark and Kieran watched her doing the little victory dance. She flipped her hair in their faces.
"Whatever, you cheated", Kieran mumbled.
"What was that? The loser's anthem?" She said.
She was way too excited but it was the first time when she played and actually won. Cristina had every right to celebrate her victory over the boys. The Black Widow, one of the world's greatest assassins was dancing on a silly song for her victory. Kieran smiled.
"Maybe if we do GET help, she will stop", Mark whispered.
"We are not doing that!", Kieran said in an instant.
"But why? You are Hawkeye..."
"Because she is our friend and I am not your brother to do the get help move. Did you hit your head with the hammer? And don't call me Hawkeye anymore!"
"Not lately...."
Cristina rolled her eyes to the ceiling. Her two dumbass friends never ceased to amaze her. She flipped her gorgeous hair in Mark's face.
"I can hear you, you know?"
"Because you are like an omniscient spider?", asked Mark.
"No, because I have ears.", she replied with a wink.
Cristina stopped in front of the window. Some buildings were in flames. She sighed and turned to face the boys. Just another day at the office. Kieran was already up and Mark hugged his hammer. She raised a brow at Mark.
"Get moving. And bring your thunder, too. Kieran, call the others. Let's go and have some Sunday fun."
"Will do.", Kieran obliged.
"I love it when you are bossy with us, m'lady.", Mark said laughing.
Cristina got out of the room raising the middle finger at her friends but smiling. The best part of being an Avenger wasn't killing monsters from other galaxies or whatever, but kicking the Avengers' asses.

A demigods meeting with their parents was never a good sign. Emma sat in the back, hating her pretty dress, far from her sisters and brothers whom she couldn't understand. Zeus was on some kind of stage with Hera on his side and she could tell even from that distance that Hera was actually yelling at Zeus. She smiled when she saw Apollo doing some dumb origami for the little ones who were near him. She tried to catch a glimpse of her mother but she wasn't around. Typically for Nike to always be late and always bloody after every battle.
"Is this seat taken?" somebody said.
"No. Do sit." Emma said, not caring enough to look in the boy's direction.
After a few moments, an arrow passed a few meters from them with perfect aim and the kids were clapping. The boy who sat near her was not impressed, he actually rolled his eyes. Emma could've seen the resemblance. Apollo's son.
"It's hard when you are the one who gets ignored for this shows," the boy said "especially when he doesn't bother to ever reach you. Parents, right?"
She remembered the boy's name. Just like his father, or maybe because of him, he was amazing with a bow and arrows. Julian something. A tall boy, with quite a muscular body, curly beautiful hair and sea waves irises.
"Well, at least he is here. Mother is never here and when she comes she is bloody and wears a victory crown."
Even if they've never been introduced, Emma knew him but he wasn't sure what was the pretty girl's name.
"I take it you are one of Nike's daughters. Aren't you the only one left alive?"
Eve, Erin, something like that. He heard his teacher saying how good that girl is with a sword. Conquering the world kind of good.
"Yes, I am Nike's daughter and no, I'm not the only one. Your father is entertaining my relatives."
They both looked in the direction of Apollo but he was already staring at them with large eyes. He felt insecure seeing them together, knowing Emma's mother and what that could possibly mean for his boy.
"Julian", he said, looking in his father's eyes.
"Emma", she replied shaking his hand.
They started talking until Zeus came forward, surrounded by his brothers and sisters. Emma paid little attention to him, talking with Julian was more interesting. She knew that was the start of a beautiful friendship. And as a side effect, her mother and Apollo hated each other. Take the trouble and make it double, leave to your kids to make you want to kill someone.

Every year on the first day of going back to Hogwarts at the Gryffindor’ table Emma looked over her shoulder to see Julian at the opposite of the room, at the Slytherins’ table. When the Sorting Hat decided she was a Gryffindor and Julian wasn’t, her heart broke into a million pieces. He comforted her and promised that their House will never be an obstacle for their friendship. At that moment she wasn’t sure but after six years she was certain. She could’ve trusted him with her life because her heart was entirely his. Her heart was like a cage and the key was loving him. Every little part of his being was hers because she saw his flaws and still managed to love and understand him.
His robe was a little torn from last year’s meeting with that horrible creature from the woods. His hair was a nest of wild curls and his eyes were so mesmerizing that Emma had to pinch herself to stop daydreaming. She looked down at her robe. She wanted a new one but forgot to buy one. Her straight, almost white, blonde hair was in a messy bun and she took her glasses to look a little smarter. Not that she wasn’t smart but sometimes she liked to be a show-off. Looking at Julian, she realized just how much of a difference was between them in every possible way.
“Hufflepuff!”
The Sorting Hat yelled at the last student who was sorted. Yellings and cheerings came from their table. The little boy joined his brothers and sisters and the eating began. After dinner, everyone was to go back to their rooms and get some rest before starting the year. Everyone but her. She snuck out right before the final call to meet with Julian.
“Here, Em.” she heard a whisper and entered the bathroom from the 2nd floor.
“Hi there, beautiful.” Jules said and smiled.
Her Julian. Even if they spent every holiday together, it was never enough. They both couldn’t wait until Hogwarts was over so they could work together, as a team of Aurors. Julian hugged her tightly. Emma never understood why the Houses were such a big deal, this matter wasn’t actually a problem for them. She embraced him and smiled in his shoulder when she sensed the smell of the perfume she gave him as a gift for his birthday.
“How is your…” Julian couldn’t finish his sentence as he heard steps coming from the hallway.
They entered a cabin from the bathroom and held their breaths. Being so close with Emma was torture for Julian. He tried to find a way to tell her how he felt for about 3 months but the moment never came. So there, holding her, he whispered: “I love you, Emma.”
She smiled so wide that the Sun was probably jealous. She was SO beautiful, Julian sometimes forgot how to hold his own around her. With her blonde hair, eyes that spoke a lot more than her words would ever and a heart as big as an ocean, even if she was afraid of its nothingness. How could he put into words or in art an image so perfect that it was imperfect? Being a Slytherin sucked sometimes for him because he would’ve very much loved to see this beautiful and stubborn Gryffindor more.
“I love you, too, Julian.”
He kissed her on the forehead. Maybe she didn’t understand or maybe she did but was uncertain of her feelings. Either way, Julian felt safe knowing he was loved in return by a “rival” from Gryffindor. Who was the one that said that Romeo&Juliet were pathetic?
“Let’s go.” he said firmly.
They got out of the cabin. Emma arranged her hair a bit and Julian’s robe. “We should get you a new one,” she said and he laughed. A sound so profoundly moving for her. “And do something about the mess that is your curls.”
“We should. Maybe tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow.” Emma said like a promise.
Tomorrow he would tell her how he felt. A thing that could change their relationship forever but a risk he was willing to take.

Helen entered the room like a queen, not caring enough to look at those from her Council. She was a Targaryen and had the dragon blood. And a dragon as a domestic pet to prove to those unfaithful. She sat on her chair and flipped her braided hair. Aline was always behind her, protecting her as she promised she would always do when Helen embraced her royal title.
"Sit." she said quietly and simply and everybody obeyed.
"If I may, my Queen," said firmly someone from her right.
Aline tensed and Helen looked at her for a brief second. The beautiful, yet so complicated girl with whom she fell in love with for about 3 years. Aline was simple, but the perfect warrior. She smiled brightly and cried hard everytime something bad happened to her family. Seeking revenge was what kept them both awake at night after making love. Not a single soul knew how deep were their feelings for each other. Helen sighed and gave the man permission to talk.
"You have to decide who you want to take your husband, my Queen. The Big Council and the Kingdom, your Kingdom, demands so. There is a lot of pressure coming from anywhere. We can't handle all of it, it's... too much."
Aline was so hurt by those words that she barely found the energy to stand still. Looking at Helen and seeing how fearless she was, given her unknown strength. Helen's dress covered her curves like a glove and her hair was braided like a queen's. Aline pinched herself to try to stay focused.
"Damn what the Kingdom wants. What about what I want? Does it even matter?" Helen yelled.
No one said anything. Aline made eye contact with Helen but went quiet. They both knew that as a Queen, it never mattered what she wanted. She took the Targaryen crown from the table and broke it in two.
"I beg your pardon, Your Majesty, but that Crown...." said someone from the Small Council.
"That crown belonged to my father and to my grandfather and all of those before them. Now it belongs to me. And I decide what I want to do. And I want to take as a lover, as a wife, a woman. I know that all of you know about me and Aline. Stop pretending, you fools."
They looked surprised but no one dared to look into her eyes. Helen took Aline's hands in her own and kissed them while looking into her beautiful, deep brown eyes.
"I dare you, my Small Council, to say something against my decision."
Instead of disobeying, everybody fell on their knees and swore to protect and always serve them. Little did they knew that Helen was Aline's to protect. She was a Stark. Her family swore allegiance to the Targaryen's long before she was born. A wolf and a dragon fell in love. And for once, it ended up well.
And Helen had a dragon, a crown and her own power to protect everybody. In that certain moment she knew that whatever the future held, she will always have a soul to confide in. She knew that the blood that ran through her veins meant something. A Targaryen, a dragon, a flame. And a Stark, a wolf, the ice that keeps the world from breaking. Her world, at least.
"What now, my Queen?" Aline whispered.
"Now, Aline Stark, we are going to reign like no one before us did. Now, we take over the world."
That being said they left the meeting, side by side, as equals. The Small Council followed. Together, they were deadlier. Together, with the help of Helen's dragon, they conquered the new world.
