Ruby hadn’t really been thinking when she kissed Sapphire and it had been nice until Ruby realized that she probably should’ve asked permission or something. “I’m sorry!”

She chuckled. “Not quite but I believe you know my friend Garnet.”
“Yeah, I know Garnet!” The young man exclaimed almost excitedly, though that excitement dulled a little as he rethought the statement. “Well ... sorta. She’s one mysterious lady.” Greg corrected himself, before giving a little shrug, and returning his focus onto the stranger.
“Buy yeah, I know Garnet. How do you know her? Are you a friend they’ve been keeping hidden from me? One of those many secrets Pearl’s always rambling on about?” The curious human inquired, speaking in a light and friendly tone.
