I love hetalia! I watched it around the time I started secondary school and it's never really left my head since lmao.

It is quite possibly what got me into shipcest (and yandere) in the first place! Even when I first watched it I remember being like "Damn. Russia and his crazy sister would make a great couple. If he wasn't so scared of her they should totally bang."

I don't really vibe with the other biggest incest ships (Germancest, Itacest, debatably USUK), though it's not because of the incest. Rather I just aren't fond of the characters or have other ships I prefer for them. There are some others I like including NiChu and SwissLiech, but they're not really my main ships.

Other than the incesty ones, some of my faves are AusHun, AsaKiku, TurkPol, LietUkr and FraGer (is that one incest if they both descend from the Carolingian Empire? idk)

Anyway yeah, I like straight ships, rare pairs, historically based ones and sibcest of course. RusBel ticks every one of those boxes & that's why I adore them 🥰🇷🇺🇧🇾

Communities update

Got a notification that I could make a beta community as a test for the update they're trying to roll out, and - hilariously - the only topic I could think of making a community for is incest ships from hetalia.

Each group is being manually approved rn though so idk if they'd even let me make that group, let alone how much traction it would get. As of right now they only have an invite-only model for communities, both public and private, and I'm a bit torn on which mode I'd want to make it.

If it's public then folks can find it later and contribute, but also I don't want antis coming in and shitting on everything or trying to doxx folks. Will probably wait to try making it until later when some more progress has been made on the update itself, where I might have more control of who can see the group or if I can limit how people interact for a period of time.

I definitely at least want to wait until I can set it as a Request to Join group, that way I can monitor no minors or antis would be coming in. I'd want it to be a no-censorship zone aside from abiding site rules, and really it just wouldn't be a good space for them.
