I don't think businesses (at least in Evelow, the primary setting of my story) have the pressure of competition or costs (to an extent) to successfully run. Of course, some businesses are more successful than others in their field, but they're usually propped up by word of mouth or location.

You can seek out reviews via journal columnists or critics, but also advertisements. Unfortunately in Evelow, it's not illegal to hide the fact you're an advertisement, but there have been people who are smart enough to point out "hey that's not a real review, it's advertising !!" And that's usually frowned upon and doesn't make the business look good. At least declare you're advertising and be as obvious about it, or hide it better ?

Going back to reviews, it's not based on a five star rating, as businesses aren't usually "attached" to the reviews they receive. If someone that isn't a writer or critic wanted to share their opinion on a business, there aren't as many options, but they can submit opinions to small scale journals or journals specific to that field of business (whether it be a fashion magazine or food column, for instance.) Or, you can just tell people you know that you think the place is good or bas.

since I've gotten such positive feedback on my Axel/Lea headcanons...

Lea/Axel/whatever is an almost PERFECT textbook Leo. aside from the whole fire affinity (Leo is the Fixed Fire sign), he's also rather... lionish, himself. and by that I mean loud, a bit lazy, and fully capable of fucking your shit up if you threaten his 'pride'.

Leo is represented by the Sun, which seems to be a recurring theme with Lea. Leos are warm and loving with whomever they give their loyalties to, very emotional and preferring to hide their more sensitive nature with lots of bravado and flamboyance. they're competitive, fun-loving, headstrong charmers and they're downright deadly when they've been hurt.

sound familiar? damn right it does. browsing through the Leo section on just about any astrological site will bring up a lion's share-- ba dum tsss-- of uncanny similarities (I've been browsing the Leo tag on ZodiacSociety, one of my personal favorites).

Leos are also rather prone to more... self-destructive, obsessive paths, as we've seen Axel take. they are notorious for pretending to follow the rules and then doing their own thing as soon as everyone's back is turned. all in all? the whole thing seems to fit all too well.

I have also headcanoned Isa/Saïx to be a Cancer (right before Leo in the astrological lineup, making Isa just a smudge older than Lea, and also Moon-aligned to carry on the solar/lunar theme with the two), but I think I'll leave my wonderful counterpart to elaborate on that~

also I'd like to request that you don't repost my headcanons... reblog them if you can and if you can't (like they came up via messages or you saw them in someone's comment section) then mention me when you post them!
