Aww thanks. I’ll try but it’s hard to switch back from going to bed at 3 for two weeks straight. I know I’m not going to be waking up refreshed and energized after waking up 😂

Credence adjusted the strap of his rucksack, eyes briefly flitting to the corridors around him as he was led to his new place of work. Most definitely an upgrade from his previous job, but then again, after working for an IT support call agency, pretty much anything was an upgrade.

His life up until this point had certainly not been dull. Adopted as an infant into the home of, quite honestly, a religious fanatic. Freed from her abusive household at fourteen, flitted around the foster system until he’d eventually aged out. Seeking the comfort and freedom of the school IT club, and spending hours learning from the technician there, he’d developed a new love for pretty much anything computer related. A degree in computer science later, and a habit of doing some coding and such on the side, and he’d got the job in the agency.

And then one day he’d come home and there had been someone waiting for him with an offer. An offer of a job, a better one than he currently had. More chance to flex his skills. So of course he’d taken it, and now it was his first day, and he was being lead towards his new boss, who he’d only heard referred to as the ‘Quartermaster’.
