She wasn't exactly drunk — not like he was, anyway — but some dose of euphoria, mixed with the overwhelming sexual craze that had filled the karaoke bar just minutes before, had made sure Nora was pretty much delirious, by the time Harvey pulled her out of the bar. Of course, his presence didn't make her any more reasonable; the fact that he'd already proved his undeniable (no matter how much she tried to deny them) skills made her quiver in anticipation, and the abstinence that their childish bickering had caused only made her more eager, hungrier, and most importantly wetter. She cared little about her pride, right in that moment; luckily, fixing things with Harvey meant not having to hide her attraction anymore, which meant not giving a damn if she seemed too eager while shoving him through the first available door without even checking the location first — she doubted he was gonna notice anyway, with the exact same arousal she could see the symptoms of on his body.

Yet, soon as they were through the door, Nora had to pull away from him and appreciate the lucky strike she’d just gotten.
