你给我一块儿糖,
我就 自 然 凉
福禄寿 - 心静自然凉
Now that I’ve progressed in my studies and started to gain some followers/would like more,
Any interest in a post on any of these topics?
-Slang terms that you may not want to ask native speakers what they mean/when to use
-Vocab list of common words used in Mandopop
-Collection of good fonts to use + how to type words like 女,绿,and other ü characters! (So many friends of mine didn’t know how even after typing in Chinese for a year!)
-Chinese Movies
In the future I’ll be able to do one on poetry, but still studying that so that won’t be for a while! (Also probably lots of text recommendations/reviews)

HSK 3
Here’s what I learned after taking the HSK 3, it might seem really obvios but it was a nice reminder of what works when studying and what doesn't:
Practicing every day is the best way to go. Even if it’s just five minutes.
Being in a study groups helps a lot in knowing how much you don’t know.
Cramming in this kind of test doesn’t help. I tried cramming some words last minute and nope, didn't work.
A good night sleep is a good exam morning.
I get really hungry when I get nervous. Having a big breakfast is a must.
Categorizing the words and writing phrases helped me putting them in context and thus remembering the meaning.
It was really fun and a tad bit stressful but I'm happy cause I feel I progressed a lot and learned so much.
I recommend Pleco’s flashcards for studying in the train or anywhere, but I mostly used it when commuting.
My brain: 12:30 am is the perfect time to practice mandarin! No need to sleep :)
ATTN: mandarin langblrs & people who occasionally post mandarin-related content
so you might have seen my recent post about how i want to reblog more content from smaller mandarin langblrs as well as people who aren’t necessarily langblrs but sometimes post mandarin-related content too
well, i have decided to make a tag and track it so that you can alert me to any posts you would like for me to reblog. having a tag i track is more reliable than messaging it or submitting it and way more convenient too!
i’m open to pretty much anything mandarin related, be it vocab lists, grammar explanations, pictures of notes, or progress updates. i honestly want to see all of it and reblog it so i can support you!
so if you want me to see a post you make, you can tag it with #heyliu and i will check it out and then add it to my queue!
if you have any questions pls message me
(note: thank u to @blackgrad for suggesting the tag u are amazing)
