                                   WELL LOOK WHO IT IS.  The greatest matchmaker in the universe  —————  and the most sadistic but she chooses not to dwell on that. She isn’t here to   punish  Missy, as tempting as that has been before.  (  Hell,  killing  her had been tempting.  )  Though as cruel and terrible a person as she is, Missy is the Doctor’s friend. He’s already lost her and his  MEMORIES  of her, he doesn’t need his oldest friend tortured by  the best friend he can’t remember.

                                   SHE GIVES HER A WARM WELCOMING,  all things considered.  Missy probably knows what’s happened to her and what  will.  In fact, Clara’s pretty sure she’s known the hybrid was  THEM  from the very beginning. As twisted as it is, Clara’s privileged to have been a part of this game. No, she isn’t here to punish Missy; she’s here to thank her.

                    he wants to pass it off as a trick of the mind, some rogue thought gone awry, come to play tricks with him. some overbearing sense of desperation, DENIAL. he waits for something, some sign to tell him that he’s wrong. that it’s all in his head ( he’s been down this road before, deluding himself into thinking maybe he’s not alone ). but the reality is this ; the doctor can’t lie to himself. not like this. not with such fortitude of CRUELTY like this.

          SHE’S NOT SURPRISED TO SEE SHE’S STILL ALIVE. Killing her on Skaro was a wish too great for even the Daleks to fulfill.  Clara thinks she should be scared; in a way that knowledge is scary, but not enough for it to consume her. Just enough to warn her. Never give Missy an opportunity ever again.

         HER LIPS REMAIN PRESSED FIRMLY TOGETHER, arms folded.  Clara’s gaze is sharp but still somehow bored.
