We somehow went three children without having hand foot and mouth in our home. Sweetpea popped a 102°F fever after being exposed to.... No one? And he's velcroed to me while being a screaming banshee. Spiritually, I aged a century. Grey hair falling off my dry brittle skeleton.

He just turned 9 months. We'd been done with a month long sleep regression for about 2 days when this started up. Thankfully he's on the tail end. His fever has been broken for a day and if we're lucky all the snot won't upset his GI tract and cause enterocolitis and force us into a week long hospital stay again. We've been free since April. His rash seems to come and go without blistering so that's pretty great. Fingers crossed his gut regulates tho. 😮‍💨
