If an Alpha suddenly turned into an omega, what major things would change for them? I reckon it would be a big culture shock.

I don't quite understand your question? You mean through magic like Ranma or Kämpfer? Like a switch? Cause I think it'd be quite funny, seeing an Alpha take the piss of other Alphas but in the body of an Omega, because they know how Alphas think and act. However, if you're talking about trans Omegas that are ATO, then I think there's a lot to consider. I made a post about it here and here, I'd take a look on those if you're interested. Hi ! Do you have any headcanons for an Alpha Female and her Beta Male boyfriend ? ^^

As fortunate a time as ever I suppose, sorry it took me so long to answer. I know you said boyfriend, but I'll go wish general crush/love interest here.

- Alpha females are already a tad more awkward than male Alphas I believe, just by nature. So if finding a way to court an Omega is hard imagine a beta male. 

- She constantly worries about whether or not she's giving the correct message, otherwise the cute Beta might think she's either trying to intimidate or mock him.

- She knows Betas have sensitive noses, so she tries giving him things betas might like to smell. tries to… the poor thing either ends up overwhelmed and sick by the smells because they’re too strong or they just sneeze so much in response that they can't barely say thank you. 

- Next time she just decides to go with mildly scented little gifts. And also a more subtle approach so she doesn't scare the poor boy off. - I really love the idea of when an Alpha courts a Beta they'll use something called a court-book or court-letters. Which basically means the Alpha will hand the Beta a book/journal where they'll write something such as a question, or just little things they'd like to tell the Beta and then wait for the Beta to answer them. 

- I like to think that's a common practice with Beta/Beta courting, so Alphas adopt it as well in order to be more friendly and approachable to the Beta. The subjects can range from anything from unimportant remarks about the whether or the current affairs of the neighborhood cats to actual declarations on how the Beta is the most beautiful creature the Alpha has laid their eyes upon and how they'd very much love to make them happy for the rest of their lives.  

- The both of them trying to make a nest one day to see if they can make one. It just caves in and falls apart so they just laugh and cuddle over the disorderly rubble.

- Alpha has to be more creative on how she impresses him because Beta is weirded out by her bringing random things to him like a crow. So she starts making Origami figures because.... Because? The Beta seems to like it tho.

- Them making Origami figures together and filling a whole jar with little colourful stars. The Alpha also gives him one she made herself, each star has a quality or a defect that the Beta has that makes it so Alpha love him as a whole.

- Most of their covers and linens are ruined because the Beta can't deal with the laundry soap the Alpha uses, so the Alpha is the one that does the laundry, but she is not the most careful so she mixes colours and fabrics constantly. Since none of them is an Omega it's not too bad.

- The Alpha is extra protective of the Beta and very handsy in public. Since this combination is not very common people often assume the Beta is her friend and make advances towards him or the other way around. The Beta doesn't mind, he loves how territorial his Alpha is.

- They want to adopt so many pups. All of the pups. And all of the cats and all of the dogs and all of the birbs and--

- Alpha's family loves Beta. They constantly tell him that he is too good for her or question how such a dumbass got herself such a sweet boy.

- Beta claim marks are very faint and don't last long, as a result the Alpha is always covered in them because the Beta wants no mistake in the understanding that she belongs to /him/.

Do you have any headcanons for Omegas making herbal suppressants to hide scents and prevent heats?

I had a briefly mentioned those in my war headcanons list tho it was under the circumstances of well… war. But I do believe scent blockers were a thing since the dawn of time, but the usage and purpose of these changed considerably. I also just made a whole post about mating bites and there’s a lot of mentions of herbal shit being used there throughout history so if you want maybe check it out, it might clear up some other doubts you may have about the subject. 

- Primitive Omegas would ask Betas from their pack or warren to find them the most fragrant and pretty herbs and flowers for them to crush and mix with creams and oils as a beautification process. Betas do have the keenest noses (and it could even be sort of a courtship thing) and having ones natural scent mixed with these plants (which was a new thing back then) was seen as extremely attractive and sure to bring you many suitors looking to court you. - lavender, roses, primrose, mint, clovers, frankincense, garlic, lilies, cinnamon and ever the tabacco flower were all very popular as “home made scent-blocking” ingredients up until the industrial revolution, and many Omegas would sew little bags containing these or just sewing the whole bunches of these plants inside pillows and quilts for both protection and for “aromatization” of their nests. 

- This trend also translated into a traditions of sewing these under on inside one’s collar. Forget a pocket full of posies, Omegas that wanted to be discreet or needed to traverse dangerous places without being identified for one reason or another were walking with collars heavy with all sorts of sprouts and dried up herbs. - Obviously these didn’t really block any scent, they merely diminish them or made one’s scent get so mixed that it’d take someone a minute or two to trace their core scent amidst all that other stuff clouding it, and over time people started figuring out which plants worked best and which worked worse for a certain outcome. - Before synthetic scent blockers existed I feel like trans-dynamics people would use these as an essential thing in their daily routine. I also personally like to believe that the first ever publicly released encyclopedia of world-wide plants and their functions in scent blockers and scent-disguises was a pseudo-gardening book published on the early 1800′s cleverly named “From Root to Bloom - Perfumes, Lotions, Creams and more for the hidden flower within you - By Madam Peafowl” Which was just a book written by an eccentric ATO trans-dynamics noble basically teaching people how to disguise their unwanted scents or how to simulate the desired scent as a way to alleviate dynamics-dysphoria, amongst other things such as how to find these plants, how to care for them and how to manufacturer these products.

- I also think that inevitably this book would be converted into other smaller, cheaper and concise little booklets or pamphlets that’d just circulate secretly in HGPT circles making it more accessible for other people of other social classes though I think it’d be less common because wide-spread illiteracy was a thing back then so first you’d have to find someone you trusted that’d be willing to read these for you or even make them. I also think that these would just be given in secrecy by Omegas to Omegas anyway without the whole trans thing on top of it simply because these were useful either way for them as well in many cases. In conclusion: This book was real popular and it helped immensely on the development of modern scent blockers and SNU and ASN units. 

- Nowadays I feel like scent-blocking would retain certain roots in things from the past such as “It’s proper to mask your scent when in church” being turned into “If you knowingly will be in a small or closed space with people for a long period of time it’d be polite to at least tone down your scent” and instead of complete scent neutralizers you’d buy in drug stores herbal concoctions would still be used for these. 

- I also think Eleusinian dynamics would use it a lot in modern times as a fashion accessory, so like using certain floral or herbal mixtures that enhance or mute certain “notes” of their natural core scent in order to go along with a certain aesthetic or “look” they are going for. Many times marrying those with other perfumes and lotions in order to make a whole new scent. It still doesn’t erase their core Omega or Beta scent, but it makes for a new temporary sensation and that’s always fun. 

Aaaaaand I think that’s it, I know this isn’t a 100% Omega exclusive and I hope this is not a problem, I apologize if it is and it wasn’t exactly what you were looking for but it’s what I was able to come up with. I hope you guys - in general - enjoyed tough, peace. 

Edit: I also don't really think there would have been a way pre-industrial revolution to prevent heats from happening. At least not in my verse.

how do you feel about Bakugou and Kirishima from Boku No Hero Academia being an alpha/alpha couple?

I think I’m rather indiferent to it. I don’t see either of them as an Omega, so any other arrangment that excludes an Omega as a possibility I’m okay with it. But since I saw this post right here I can’t help but love the idea of a Beta Bakugou. Specially the thought of a trans-dynamic Bakugou, feeling like an Alpha inside but who was unfortunetly born as a Beta.

I’d like to think that this is one of the reasons here’s so pissed 24/7. I find that this kind of struggle would make much more sense than his petty reasoning behind wanting to be No#1 at all costs even tho he hasn’t been seen as nothing less than incredible his whole life (But that’s just a personal pet peeve I have with the character in general). His uncontrolled agressive behaviour would be a result of both frustation and a desperate need to be seen as an Alpha more than anything else. Alpha!Kirishima backing down of his “status” as Alpha to let Bakugou take the lead so he feels more like an Alpha is also something that I like to harbor in my mind. Kirishima is definetly the kind to be understanding and wouldn’t mind to be submissive for the one he loves the most, specially when Bakugou needs this so much. Except on his Ruts. In his Ruts he can’t help but be dominant. But I think Bakugou too would do the sacrifice of being taken by Kirishima as the submissive under these circumstances, because he too loves Kirishima enough to do that. I’ve read Alpha!Bakugou x Alpha!Kirishima fics before, and I like them a lot too, but I haven’t found any TD Beta!Bakugou x Alpha!Kirishima works yet and I find this to be the arrangement that makes more sense and that I particularly love the most.

I recently read a fic with Alpha!Baku and Alpha!Kiri, and damn it was nice and sadly short. How'd you think an alpha/alpha relationship would go down? :3c Which would be the biggest hurdle they'd have to get over?

I think Alpha/Alpha relationships would be one of a kind. While Omega/Omega relationships are usually tooth rotting sweet I think an Alpha/Alpha one would be even more, but in a different way.

Alphas are very territorial and usually very jelous and possessive in nature. So you can expect them being the clingiest of all pairings. Whenever in public (And if they are confortable with it) They’d be holding hands, or side hugging each other while waiting for the bus, and never actually sitting across each other in restaurants, but rather besides each other. Even if that is not how the chairs are put, they will change it to be the closest possible to their mate. All in an effort to let any other Alpha (or Beta or Omega) know that this Alpha is taken and it is Their’s! 

Compulsive scenting is also a thing. They’d scent the shit out of each other. specially since they are both Alphas the scents kinda gets lost in each other and it’s a bit hard to distinguish if infact there IS another scent besides their own. So They’ll not let their mate leave the house until He or She is pratically capable of signaling to another world that they have a mate alright! This is both pleasant and unpleasant since this can go two directions. An amazing making out section right after, or being yelled by theirs boss for being late because your mate just felt like it “wasn’t enough yet”. Also lots of angry sexs, man. Just A LOT of it. Agressive, Pocessive, Table-wrecking sex. Cause Ruts are no easy rodeo, and when one of them manages to send the other in a Rut together with them, you can bet they’ll be having to go to Ikea soon to get some new furniture. This is a particular nuisance to their neighbours if they live in a condo or something similar. The ammount of noise they make is just something else… But it’s fine cause it was worth one or two disturbance fines.

And about the hurdles, I think the most difficult of them is that Alpha/Alpha relationships are the ones that suffer the most prejudice. It is not as bad in first world countries, but it still exists and it can get to them if a particular Alpha is harrassed contantly by it. I think They’re the most supceptable to get depressed tbh. They are also the least likely to be taken seriously and be provided with help in abusive relationships, right after Alphas in Alpha/Omega relationships. It’s really sad, but society doesn’t cater very well to Alphas that claim to have problems or need help. On a good note they are the preferred couple to take in Alpha children in cases of adoption, unless the child has a particular traumatic experience with Alphas, Alpha couples are the go-to suggestion since Alpha children may feel more safe and settle more easily with other Alphas in the house. I’d say Omega x Alpha and Alpha x Alpha couples are way more likely to be able to adopt an Alpha child than any other arrengent.

How does the non-cisgender community operate? I get maybe for betas, transgender, non-binary, genderfluid and agender is like our world, but how do alphas and omegas deal with their gender identity on top of their secondary gender?

Hum, okay. Like I said before in my HGPT post I won’t be answering questions about anything outside of that realm. My name is not Pandora and I ain’t opening this can of worms. I’m sure there are plenty of people on Tumblr who’d gladly do so. I’m just not one of them. I can whoever answer about the Trans people if you still want to.

• For Omegas and Alphas being trans-dynamics is very tiering specially when it comes to their Ruts and Heats. This is not something that vanishes from dusk to dawn after one takes upon themselves to seek for treatment in order to transition. 

• The overwhelming desire to act as their original dynamics accompanied by the ovewhelming dysphoria that comes with it just proves itself very exahausting and triggering. They can take stronger and long-lasting specially prescribed supressants, but in the case they still want remain fertile somehow (for any reason) these still have to be laid down after a while like normal ones and the person has to go through and endure this mentally and phisically torturing process once every 12 months (the time can vary depending on the supressant). 

• Being solely transgender in ABO is not as complicated as one would think. Given that each dynamics (aside from Betas as you pointed out) have fairly similar bodies. Both female and male Alphas are (generally) tall, sturdy and muscular. So the dysphoria about appearance wouldn’t be that much intense. A few surgical procedures and the problem can be fairly lessen and dealt with. 

• The whole thing just turns more stressing when it’s from one dynamics to another. I guess you can imagine how much more terrible it can be for an Omega to feel like and Alpha/male Beta or for an Alpha/male Beta to feel like an Omega. The difference is hip size, stature, and the Heats and Ruts just makes things 2 times as bad. And if you happen to be both TD and TG it is certainly 10 times the hassle. 

•  All in all things are just like you’d excpect to be. It’s an inner turmoil that just has no easy solution. Ofc the support towards these people from their families and loved ones is essential for the transition to go as smoothly as possible. But there are somethings that will always be there to bug you no matter how much you want them to go away.• I don’t think that in first world countries that will be much of a problem to anyone. They would have the same rights and access to any surgery they want (obviously that would have to come from their own pocket, and that can lead to some polemic discussions. But as far as it goes that’s how it works. Places with public care have a whole different system tho). The hole is only way deeper when it comes to third world and developing contries. Trangender people don’t have much problem blending in for most part so they are not the primary target. Trans-dynamics people on the other hand have a much harder time being accepted and leaving relatively peaceful lives. Again guys I will NOT be answering questions about anything else other than the stuff presented in my HGPT post.
