A combination of the city's pothole problem, and Jimmy's boot, opens the trunk. He scrambles out, into the open, into the street. He isn't wearing any pants, and his hands are tie-wrapped together, luckily he is wearing underwear, and a muddy pair of timbs. The car has either cut it's losses, or not noticed his escape.

For a minute, he just runs down the middle of the road, chewing at the tie-wrap. It's night-time, he's fighting a concussion, the city is a blur of neon.

"You," it's the first person he's seen, "yeah, you, I'm talking to you," he's stumbling closer to the sidewalk now, "you got a blade? I need my hands back, this shit sucks."
