Here he was in a land with separation. Quietly emerging here, the man in red looked around to see innocent faces that were cheering and happily engaged in activities together, while a quiet genocide was happening. He knew, more than anyone in his short time in this land, that history and propaganda was hiding the lies of this civil war being waged. 

It was evident to someone like him. He knew, a separation of people because of them being 'branded' only meant one final destination. No choices, just involuntary commitment.
