Ummmm, okay looks like I’m finally answering this x

So unpopular opinion, I like the ladies in waiting.

Another opinion: I don’t like how they are portrayed in the six fandom and I don’t read any of the fics with them being major characters because of that.

I’m not going to get into who writes what cause people can write whatever they want, ima just ignore what personally bugs me. But I don’t really view the Ladies in waiting as something serious or important really, just kinda there to help move the plot along or in Joans case, just exist.

I do however have headcanons for how they look and act, something I have had since last year and adore. Here are my personality head canons for them in my non written and probably never will be written AUs.

Maria: I love my baby drummer. She is a lesbian, this is a fact. She is also kinda the mom of the group, and a bit flirty. (Hotta love it when she mutters curse words in Spanish under her breath.) she is probably my second favorite, maybe my first if a certain someone didn’t forget that they were playing her in our six roleplay every five fucking seconds. She is chill in my eyes, and usually in a story to either move the plot along for Aragon, or for Anne when Maggie and Bessie are busy. Kinda just bossy mom who is also flirty and that’s alright.

Bessie: My faveeeeeee! Absolutely the biconic one. She is the only other one besides Maria in the group who has a brain cell. The issue is that brain cell is gay and will freeze whenever Maggie kisses her. She is a bit quiet, but really sweet and logical. However, she tends to get caught up in the chaos and tries to be the voice of reason, but then she just goes fuck it and takes a swig of her flask (she swears Anne and Maggie’s chaos will make her an alcoholic one day) and does whatever her girlfriend feels like doing. Except if it is arson, she refuses to let Maggie commit arson.... again.

Maggie: absolute chaos, and very gay. She is Anne’s childhood best friend, even if Anne jokingly says they are not friends and Maggie is just someone who follows her. “She’s kinda like a stalker-” “I AM NOT-” “Maybe I should get a restraining order >:3”. She is Bessies girlfriend, and is very into PDA and will literally cuddle her and flip off men who try to hit on Bessie at the same time. She is very sweet, but also can be a bit pushy. Love her though, she is my third fave of the four.

Lastly,

Joan: uhhhhh she just kinda exists. Like I don’t really care for her as much as the others. The others have either the mom friend or the couple thing going for them, so Joan is just in the background being alive. Every now and then she will pop up and trip over something. I don’t know, I mainly put Joan in just as a name because I feel bad mentioning all the LIWs and then excluding her. Guess..... she is short as well? That’s all I got, sorry x

Like I said before, these head canons are mainly made for how they can help move my stories along, and all my fics are centered around Parrlyn and KatAnna (with also Aramour being added). You can like them or dislike them, I don’t really care. But yeah, here is how I feel about the LIWs, they are okay and chill, I just have my own portrayals and don’t take them really seriously. If you do that’s also chill, and if you don’t, again, chill.

I know I have friends who lowkey high key hate and are triggered by the Ladies, meanwhile I also have some who absolutely adore them and their content (looking at you my child, love you so much and you are valid.), personally I guess I’m just neutral about them. To be fair though, that’s because the show is called six, and not ten or four, so yeah, I’ll stick to my WIPs for Parrlyn and KatAnna!
