Ships are like:
this is character A, character A has blonde hair and a slightly softer demeanor that character B, they adore character B
and then there is:
Character B, an eccentric asshole brunette who struggles to show empathy, hopelessly in love with character A
(bonus points if they're part of the lgbtqia+ community)
I love thinking abt how Hecate and Pippa fell in love as teenagers.
They kiss each other on the lips everyday but don’t want to be together until they’re older. They comfort each other through tears. Holding hands under their cloaks. Being known as inseparable. Hecate known for being scary and Pippa for being nice, even though people are slightly scared of Pippa as she is Hecates bestie. I love you’s so many times a day they can’t count. Praising each other. Loving each other. Whispering under bedsheets. Sneaking into each other’s room. Hecate the ‘baddie’, Pippa the polite and respectful one. Staying up late talking and struggling to get up in the morning. Randomly crawling into each other’s beds, even if the other isn’t there. Sharing clothes. Taking the piss out of each other. Pippa teaching Hecate how to sing. Both of them talking about everyone and everything. Everyone thinking they were together when they weren’t. All of it was their thing.
Hi there! Just going through your fic back catalogue and just falling in love with all your words all over again. Wanted to let you know that they are among the loveliest and most emotionally stunning works I’ve been blessed to read. Thank you for sharing as always. Hope you’re doing well
ahhh thanks buddy <3 it all seems like such a unreal fever dream. I’m so glad they meant something to you, it was a labor of love for sure. It feels strange to know how all the other fics end but also know I’ll never write them now. Glad to have finished the ones I did though, it was a ride and I learned a lot. Thanks for the love and support, it goes a long way. Xoxo

We were pretending to be lovers but I’m not pretending anymore and I have to know if you feel the same way
Hecate and Pippa go to a school reunion. Everyone there assumes they’re a couple. Neither Hecate nor Pippa do anything to disabuse them of that notion.

“I haven’t spoken to any of these people in 30 years and I don’t care to start now.”
Their hands still intertwined, Pippa led Hecate further into the room. “A year ago you hadn’t spoken to me in 30 years,” Pippa helpfully pointed out. She let go of Hecate’s hand to take her own name badge from the table set up by the front entrance. She pinned it on before she turned and did the same with Hecate’s. As soon as she was finished, she smoothed out the dress on Hecate’s shoulders. Hecate simply bowed to her ministrations. Objecting would be pointless.
I swear if the people of Tumblr made The Worst Witch it would literally be about Hecate and Pippa, Mildred and the other pupils would all be background characters.
