Avoid HireTheWorld and its hidden fees
Think twice before using HireTheWorld for crowdsourcing a design. If you run a public contest (e.g. you don't pay the $49 for their 'private' option), the designs (e.g. logos) will remain public, even after the contest is over! As a result, the unpicked logos will continue to show up in search engine results. This is bad for a brand; you want people to see one logo not a bunch of them, many of which are stinkers. I emailed HireTheWorld and said this use of a $49 hidden fee is a shady way of doing business. After a contest is over, even a public one, it should be over. Instead, they want to charge about fifty bucks to properly close a contest. They want an extra fee to do the right thing. This is shameful. It feels almost like blackmail, in the sense that you have little choice... "Oh, your contest is successful... you may not have realized it at the time, but now you have to pay us *again* to *really* close the contest and keep search engines out." I suggest avoiding HireTheWorld, unless you don't mind getting hit with a $49 hidden fee. I don't want to support companies that do business like this.
