WHOOPS! Forgot to upload this yesterday. A few times a year, Dedee takes me on a tour of her newest hiding spot and then gets mad when she realizes I know where she's hiding.

You sat alone in the school cafeteria, flipping through a book to distract yourself from the world around you. That's when Rafael "Rafe" Cameron, the school bad boy and notorious bully, sauntered over with his usual intimidating aura.

Rafe leaned against the table, flashing a charming smile. "Well, well, well, look who we have here. Little mouse, all by herself."

Your guard was up, unsure of his intentions. "What do you want, Rafe?"

He leaned in, his tone softening. "Oh, don't be like that, baby girl. I just want to talk."

You were taken aback by his flirty demeanor. "Talk about what?"

Rafe's eyes seemed sincere as he admitted, "Look, I know I've been a bit of a jerk to you in the past, but you've been on my mind, and I can't shake this feeling. I like you, little mouse. Can you believe it?"

Overwhelmed by Rafe's confession, you found solace in an abandoned classroom at the end of the school, hoping to escape the chaos of your classes, Rafe and your own emotions. The weight of his words and your past encounters were too much to bear.

But as you hid away, you heard footsteps approaching, and dread filled you when Rafe entered the empty hallway and opening the door to your hidden oasis.

He locked eyes with you and couldn't help but grin, leaning against the wall with his typical playful attitude.

"Hey there, little mouse. You think you can hide from me that easily?" he teased, making your heart race.

You couldn't hold back your defensiveness. "What are you doing here? I thought you'd be out partying or causing trouble, not stalking me."

Rafe's smile softened, and he stepped closer. "You know, baby girl, I just couldn't resist. You've got this allure, and I couldn't let you disappear like that."

Rolling your eyes, you asked, "Why do you keep calling me that? 'Little mouse' and 'baby girl,' seriously?"

Rafe's expression turned serious, but his flirty charm remained.

"Because that's what you are to me, little mouse. You may be small and quiet, but you've got a fierce spirit that captivates me. And as for 'baby girl,' well, you just bring out this protective side in me."

You hesitated, feeling a mix of fear and hope. "Protective? From what? You were the one causing all the trouble!"

Rafe chuckled, stepping even closer. "True, I had my moments. But you see, baby girl, when I look at you, all I want to do is keep you safe and make you smile. Call it a change of heart."

Tears welled up in your eyes as you whispered, "I don't know if I can believe you, Rafe. You've hurt me so much in the past."

Rafe gently wiped away a tear and leaned in, his breath tickling your ear. "I know, little mouse, and I'm truly sorry for that. I can't change my past actions, but I can change who I am now. Please, give me a chance."

You felt a flicker of hope as you looked into his eyes, realizing there might be more to this bad boy than you ever imagined. "You better not break my heart, Rafe."

"I promise, baby girl. I won't let you down," he said with a sincerity that melted your defenses.

As you left the classroom, hand in hand, the weight of your past interactions began to fade away.

Both of you knew it wouldn't be an easy journey, but you were both willing to give this newfound relationship a shot. Sometimes, love blooms in the most unexpected places, even between the most unlikely hearts.
