Everyone on tumblr is either in a emotional state or hiding something from the rest of humanity.
Why is it that even when I think I'm doing a good job of hiding something, everyone else can tell i'm upset?
Honestly, I got sooo excited when I saw this ad on the American Eagle website. In my head I was thinking SALE SALE SALE! EVERYTHING MUST BE CHEAP! Boy was I wrong. These advertisements have a way of messing with my head. They have a really effective way of advertising by starting with the 50% off. Whenever there's a sale, I just feel the need to buy! I feel like i'd be missing out on such a great opportunity if i didn't, but that's just everything that the advertisement does to me! Consumerism is now part of my conscience, it's taking over who I am and it makes me feel guilty as ever.
