“All of Timothée's last films were initiated between 2017 and 2019, and no new projects have been announced... not even the slightest rumor.”
What about his upcoming movie with Paramount directed by Mangold?
Hi Anon…
Dune, A Complete Unknown and Marty Supreme have been initiated for many years as Timmy has recounted on numerous occasions (since 2017 for MS).
As for High Side… since the announcement last year, we no longer have any information, nor filming date, nor co star name, absolutely nothing. And Timothée himself confirmed in an interview that for the first time in his career he had no filming date planned. So…
😲💰💰💰
hello! Timmy's gonna be in his first contemporary/current era movie??????
CRImE + SPeed usually equals to massive box office numbers, as seen in the Fast & Furious films, DRIVE, BABY DRIVER, GONE IN 60 SECONDS, etc. And while cars have been done to death, motorbikes havent so HIGH SIDE has the potential to be hella big! i sure hope james mangold can do "cool" coz these sort of movies dont hit the mark if they dont have cool characters, cool music and cool chase sequences. Edgar Wright wd crush it (his BABY DRIVER is amazing)!!!
footnote1: Last year's THE BIKERIDERS couldnt pull in viewers but that doesnt mean people arent gonna be interested in a bike movie - i actually think that movie failed because it focused on the dysfunction of the gang and never visually captures the high (?) or pleasure that bikeriders get from the speed.
footnote2: HIGH SIDE's story is kinda similar to GONE IN 60 SECONDS (2000) in that there's stealing and two brothers involved. But that's ok, since that film itself was a remake of GONE IN 60 SECONDS (1974) - clearly this story comes back every 25 or so years, lol !!!
Down the Road (A Thrilling Romance Story) Pt 1
A/N: The new Lucid ad starring Timothee Chalamet and Larsen Thompson is so cinematic! It inspired me to write this story about a newlywed couple who gets into an unexpected, yet exciting predicament on their wedding night.
Bride's POV:
The way the moon glistened off of his curls was a sight to die for. It reminded me of the devilishly handsome glint in his eyes that made it impossible to resist when he got down on one knee and proposed to me only about a month ago. It was reckless especially because we'd only known each other for about a year, but there was no doubt in my mind that I wanted to spend the rest of my life beside him, through all the ups and downs.
The world really wanted to put our vows to the test because not even an hour after our wedding, which truthfully was more of an elopement, we were stranded on the side of the road. My husband, whom I still found it surreal to call him so, was hunched over in his borrowed tux attempting to figure out why the motorcycle we'd been gliding effortlessly upon mere minutes ago, decided to give up on us. As he investigated the source of our troubles, I sat upon a rock along the road watching him scrunch the bridge of his nose in frustration. Even in distress, I had to admit that he still looked so dapper. That suit would be the death of me. Too bad I'd need to wait to see it sprawled across the floor of a roadside motel room.
