May sayings on tmnt 2012...
Well, the world didn’t end on September 23rd, so crap you crazy theorist. However, sad news.
After 5 years of its running, Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which first aired on 2012, has come to its end.
I am so surprised and proud. I did not expect this show to have such a brilliant lifespan. And achieved so much. When it first aired, we expect it to be as bad as all of Nick’s recent shows. And it when it comes to Nickelodeon doing shows based on a famous franchise, they always end up being a failure and almost immediately cancelled. But that fact didn’t stop the crew working behind the franchise’s new generation.
They have defied all the poor elements Nick has put out for other series for the past decade, as well as not making it just a goal to sell toys, by making something that can be enjoyable for all audience. They defied making it look like just a show for little boys.
And let me say this. I thought this was going to be a terrible show. But as conversations of the franchise suddenly came out of nowhere and is always being shown on tv….I just had to give it a shot. Few episodes later, I got SO attached to it. I’ll never forget when my favorite character use to be Mikey and then changing to Donnie. I’ll never forget how excited I was about the season 1 finale special being aired and how I was wearing a purple t-shirt (didn’t have any tmnt t-shirts yet) when watching it. Or that time when I screamed in joy like a crazy person when the theory of Karai being Splinters daughter was confirmed.
I’ll never forget how I became best friends with someone who also loved the show and we have been close since. We will always call each other after our favorite character (me being Donnie and her being Leo) and I would always visit her house so we can watch the new episode together. How frustrated we got on the day the season 2 premiere came out because her house’s connection got bad and we got nothing but laggy images. oh what a good funny moment that was.
The moments when Splinter died so many times that when he finally died permanently, it was expected. They are so many more memories I have left to share.p>
Great story, great lovable and unforgettable characters, great humors, great settings, and great animation. Although it’s sad to see such a great show finish it last chapter, it was for the best. I noticed that it was starting to run out of good ideas, so why not end it with a good spark. I’m actually really happy the channel didn’t do it the same way as SpongeBob and it can now rest peacefully in the best way possible. The show may be gone, but it will not be forgotten. It’s episode will remain on the Internet for people who have not watched series yet. So the fandom will live on as well. See you later, giant lizard things…
