Confucius says, “Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.” It sounds a bit metaphorical, but it’s so true. There’s so much life and beauty in Alaska, everyone should witness it at least once. Beyond the “simplicity” of gorgeous landscapes, there is so much beauty when you 👀 closer. Beauty is in the dirt, bugs, cobwebs, and pebbles. Mike, Courtney, and myself set out on an adventure to #eklutnalake a paradise loaded with different species of plants, fungus, lichen, berries, and a dreamy glacial lake. I’ve got an enormous bag of these High Bush cranberries that I picked myself and we’re going to make cranberry sauce for the holidays out of the juice! High bish cranberries aren’t really even a cranberry, but they’re so good for you!
