These are the four different stable ladies who will help you change your horse’s gear, Phanna, Breen, Canni, and Tenne in that order. They always clap their hands like this after seeing that your bond with a new horse is maxed out.

I suppose the saddle could get all wet in the rain, even if a body was sitting in it the whole time, but even more so if the rider dismounts and leaves it sitting out in the rain...

Baddek, the NPC with the horse-tinted glasses, has me a little befuzzled. He says that some of the stables have slightly different saddle and bridle types. Is he talking about the default saddle and bridle you get when you register your horse? I always thought those were the same. It would be rather neat if there was some little difference that you have to examine very closely to notice...

I caught this horse and registered it at Outskirt Stable. 

And this horse I registered at Serenne Stable, but since there wasn’t a girl there to change the saddle and bridle, I rode straight to Woodland Stable. Apart from the fact that one is in the shade and one is in the sun, I’m not seeing any differences of saddle or bridle, at least from this angle. 

Though Baddek did mention Woodland, Highland, Outskirt and South Akkala Stables. If my memory serves me, I know at least three of those stables are ones at which you can change your horse’s saddle and bridle. I just don’t remember if you can change your horse’s gear at South Akkala Stable too. This bears more looking into though. I want to know what Baddek is talking about!
