This month brought Hogwarts the last match of the Quidditch regular season, Gryffindor vs. Ravenclaw. The Gryffindors got off to an early lead, with Chasers Maxine Ollivander, Vlad Krum, and Ana Krum flying seamlessly together and putting goal after goal past Ravenclaw’s Keeper. However, the Ravenclaw Chasers clawed their way back, largely due to an offensive push by Chaser Gwen Peakes, and by the time a flash of gold appeared in the stadium, the score was a tight 110 - 90. However, Lydia Yen’s speed couldn’t be matched by Gryffindor Seeker Jules Goldstein, and in a blur of blue, Lydia pulled out of her dive with the golden Snitch clutched in her hand, and the match ending in favor of her team. 

Final Score: Gryffindor 110 - Ravenclaw 240

Hufflepuff 2 - 1

Ravenclaw 3 - 0

Slytherin 0 - 3

Our next match will be the championship, Hufflepuff vs. Ravenclaw on June 10th.

In one week, our next Quidditch match will be upon us here at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Everyone is anxious to see if Gryffindor can pull off a win and propel them to next month’s final, or if Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff will be the teams meeting in the Quidditch Cup. As usual, we will be using activity to determine the winner of this game.

From now until Friday, May 12, at 11:59 PM EST you will be rewarded points for activity. The points system can be found bellow:

10 points for posting a starter between now and Friday.

10 points for every ten interactions posts your character has (gif chats, texts, paras, etc.).

10 points for each twenty notes of activity you reach on a starter.

Please note that your activity absolutely must be posted by the time above for us to give you points. Also, please send an ask to the main stating which house you would like to see receive points for your activity this week. Just because your character is in a house, you do not necessarily have to support that team - so if you are in Ravenclaw or Gryffindor, you are free to choose where your allegiance lies. However, players with characters in other houses also help determine the outcome of the game.

Our monthly qudditch match between Hufflepuff and Slytherin was a huge spectacle. More than ever, Slytherin Captain Mila Zabini needed a win - the Snakes had failed to win a single game this season so far. Hufflepuff Captain Stephanie Kenyon was determined to make sure she took home another W herself. The Slytherin team was off to a strong start, racking up 100 points in the first half-hour alone. They continued to lead the Hufflepuffs, bringing their lead over them to 210:30 at one point during the game.

About halfway through the game though, an unknown event caused Hufflepuff chaser Brittany Wenlock to fall from her broom though. The pitch was cleared as school nurse, Madam Alejandra Acosta, assessed her wounds. When the girl failed to regain consciousness, Acosta and Headmaster Flitwick left the field in order to accompany the girl to St. Mungo’s. As of now, there are still no updates on her condition.

After watching their teammate fall, the Hufflepuff team was visibly distraught. Kenyon gathered them all together on the side of the pitch before the game resumed. And after the game resumed, it seemed the Hufflepuff team was out for blood. Slytherin’s early lead dwindled until the game was 210:160. And while Slytherin chasers Luke Dawson and Samuel Avery managed to score another 90 points on Kenyon, the Snitch still alluded them. It wasn’t long until Hufflepuff’s Archie Appleby shot by the goalposts in pursuit of the Snitch. While Slytherin Seeker Anthony Rowle zoomed towards him, it was too late. Appleby had made a mad dive on his broom, catching the Snitch and ending the game with a surprise victory for the badgers.

Final Score: Hufflepuff 310 - Slytherin 300

This month brought Hogwarts another exciting rivalry match between the Hufflepuffs and the Ravenclaws. The Puffs gained an early advantage, with their Chaser Austin Solano easily navigating past the Eagle’s Keeper. About an hour into the game, they had amassed themselves a whooping two hundred points to Ravenclaw’s twenty. Unfortunately for them, Chaser Gwen Peakes had an astounding run in the second half scoring sixty points herself while the other Ravenclaw Chasers managed forty points. That was when their Captain Lydia Yen spotted the snitch. She made a massive dive for it before the Badgers even noticed it, ending the game and leading Ravenclaw to a ten point leave. With such a narrow lose, the Hufflepuffs looked especially dejected when leaving the field.

Final Score: Ravclaw 260 - Hufflepuff 140

Our next Quidditch game will be taking place this Saturday, and if you haven’t yet sent us what team you’d like your activity points to go to, please send those as soon as possible to allow us time to calculate the score of Hufflepuff vs. Slytherin.

The end of the holidays brought an intense rivalry game between Gryffindor and Slytherin. The intense feud between the houses made tensions higher than ever as fans filled the seats to watch in anticipation. Slytherin gave it a good effort, scoring repeatedly on Gryffindor keeper, Chandler Wood. However, they caught an unlucky break when Seeker Jules Goldstein made an early dive for the Snitch and successfully won the match for the Lions.

Final Score: Gryffindor 200 - Slytherin 140
