Cliff Notes for Boruto Chapter 26
Inojin flirts with Himawari like a bee by bringing the girl her favorite honey. He somehow has enough rizz to pull the move off without looking desperate.
Once the sunflower girl is out of earshot, one of Kashin Koji's frogs appears and asks Inojin if he has a crush. Inojin's blush makes the answer obvious.
Kashin Koji then teleports Inojin into a locked room with Himawari's missing nin brother. Boruto sits on a throne trying to look as intimidating as possible.
Meanwhile, back at the villain's basecamp, Jura is crying over a novel and waxing poetic about love. Mamushi sits next to him reading a porno mag.
Mamushi announces he doesn't care about feelings. He simply wants to take Eida's "superior genetic information" for himself. It's unclear whether he wants Eida to give him babies or if he wants to become a Mary Sue teenage girl in her place. Neither option is appealing.
Meanwhile, Shikamaru is headed to meet the Council of Elders, who are somehow still alive. Some representative of the Daimyo is there too. They are suspicious of how Boruto escaped interrogation.
Kashin Koji uses Inojin as a human cellphone to call Shikamaru up. Using Prescience, he helps Shikamaru focus their suspicion on Konohamaru instead of himself. Konohamaru gets carted off to interrogation for being too sympathetic to Boruto.
After helping Shikamaru keep his job, Kashin Koji and Boruto start bickering about the mission to Sand. As the two argue, Inojin stands there awkwardly waiting to be teleported home.
Last but not least, we see Eida, Sarada, and Sumire doing girl talk. It's basically Sumire and Sarada hashing out their plans for how they'll confess to Boruto, while Eida acts as referee.
Daemon looms in the corner, trying to look intimidating in his bunny pajamas. His protective brother act isn't quite as impressive as Boruto's was.
Sarada and Sumire get so worked up over Boruto that Eida accuses them of being immune to her charm.
Realizing that the girls are not bisexual for his sister, Daemon moves to attack. The punishment for heterosexuality is death.
