I'm terrible at taking the time to do anatomy studies ._. but working on a big comm with a lot of gryphons in it made me realise I really do not understand feline anatomy. So here's a copy-by-eye with a few random notes of one of the plates on the lion from 'An Atlas of Animal Anatomy for Artists' (an indispensible tome.)

Limb paralysis is a very common condition in dogs which can occur both in fore leg or hind leg, but more common in hind legs. Scare Bear
Last night, Mocha gave us all a scare. Mocha's hind right leg/hip has been injured while she was being carried. She has been keeping her weight off of her hind right leg and laying around, however, let's hope she gets better soon so she can jump around once again.
As it is quite obvious, Mocha has been overweight and it has been hard for her hind legs and hips. However, let's all have some hope that she'll get better soon!!
