फाइव स्टार होटल की प्लेट में नहीं होता,

असली मज़ा है गली के उस ठेले पर,

जहाँ स्वाद के साथ कहानी भी मिलती है।

जब आप मेन्यू नहीं,

लोगों की आदतें पढ़ते हैं।

रीति रिवाज़ को सिर्फ देखने के बजाए,

थोड़ी देर के लिए जीते हैं।

और तब बात सिर्फ घूमने की नहीं रहती,

बात रहती है उस शहर को जीने की।

सोने पे सुहागा तब होता है

जब आप किसी लोकल मार्केट में पैदल भटकते हैं।

बिना किसी प्लान के, बिना जल्दबाज़ी के

जहाँ हर मोड़ पर सौदे नहीं, रीति रिवाज़ जानने को मिलते हैं

और हर खरीद के साथ यादों की रसीद कटती है।

यात्रा तब पूरी होती है जब जगह आपको नहीं

आप जगह को अपने भीतर लेकर लौटते हैं।
