Here you go. The whole thing is under the cut, though it is very short. As of patch 2204, the file I extracted this from is no longer in the public files, so this text may have been changed!

As Governor Lum predicted, anything larger than an ant dies within a couple seasons. The 'cure' spreads like a virus through all native xenofauna, and many of the trees and other exoflora too, as the line between creature and plant is blurry on Vertumna.

The die-off is massive. Rotting biomatter and fungal blooms choke the planet.

You and the other humans take shelter inside the Heliopause, relying once more on hydroponics and life support. Lum's power grows as a year passes, then five, then ten, while outside the planet struggles to find a new equilibrium. Vertumna cools by entire degrees, which is enough to take out even those species that survived the virus.

Some of the colonists succumb to a sort of... wishful-thinking conspiracy, whereby Lum was only _lying_ about the virus in order to force everyone inside so he could control the colony under a fascist police state. It sweeps through the colony, igniting police riots and unsuccessful takeovers.

When you emerge over a decade later, it's to a planet you hardly recognize. Swarms of insects roam over a decimated landscape scrubbed clean of Vertumna's native biodiversity. The planet's ecosystem is crippled, but yours for the taking.

The bots recolonize the planet first, seeding the fecund, newly-nitrogen-rich soil with Earth plants. Within a few more years, it's safe for humans to leave the Heliopause.

You feel the breeze on your face for the first time in over a decade. The planet smells different, and it's cool and dry in a way Vertumna has never felt before. Is this... what Earth was like, before humans destroyed it? It's ironic that it took another apocalypse for humans to have another chance at survival.

The colonists, too, have changed. Many children are born on board the Heliopause, children that have never known Vertumna as a lush pink and purple planet. And, there are deaths. Notably, Instance takes her own life a few months into the quarantine period.

As the military gains more power under Lum, Vace feels ambivalent over the increased role he's forced take in adjudicating the pointless squabbles of colonists indefinitely trapped in a tin can - more akin to a police officer than a proud defender. This ambivalence turns to bitterness and resentment. He backslides even further during your relationship with him, eventually becoming violent. Your relationship with him ends in a protracted, messy, manipulative break-up that occupies the gossip mill for weeks.

Seishirou wouldn’t say he avoided thinking about Hokuto, but, he certainly wouldn’t intentionally try and remember her. Still, he pulled out a cookie sheet, and was suddenly hit with the warmth and sweetness of when she dressed up in one of her elaborate outfits and baked cookies in his apartment. They were fanciful things, sweet and buttery, better than what you could buy from even the best bakery, and he desperately wished he could eat one again.
